Reply by armortellaro » Jan. 8, 2012 7:15pm I am 6 weeks and have no symptoms, aside from being crazy emotional and gas. Nausea usually rears its ugly head at 7 weeks. In the early early weeks I was super bloated but that has passed and my weight has returned to it's original number. Makes me nervous though, just so worried I won't get to keep this baby either :( If I even feel a slight bit of nausea I get excited, weird, I know! Report |

Reply by esperanza » Jan. 9, 2012 9:54am I feel like emilyolsen08: In general, I feel great. Even being gassy, bloated and sore heavy bbs (I need to use to have bbs) couldn't worsen my general well-being. I am getting many compliments recently that I am looking good. Somehow this pregnancy did improve my complexion, added some glow - I am not sure for how long it will last... I also started to feel like my uterus is stretching..I can't wait to have an u/s to see if it one. I had very strong positive on 9dpo (very faint on 8dpo) and I had my digital very fast on 9 dpo - so ... might it be a sign of twins? we'll see Report |

Reply by greekmum » Jan. 11, 2012 10:21am esperenza - I had the same...a very strong positive at 9DPO and i took a FRER and a Digital that night without holding my pee. Since twins runs in both our families I was concerned I might have been carrying twins. According to our first ultrasound at 6 and a half weeks it was only one little bean. But the scan showed I was farther along then first calculated so it could be the same for you as well! Congrats to all the new mommies. Report |

Reply by esperanza » Jan. 11, 2012 4:48pm greekmum: Thank you for your reply! I wanted to hear something like that..its reassuring... It's not like I mind twins.. however... here is part of conversation between dh and a teen ds " dh: what if there are two? -teenager ds: Twins? uhh... It's not like we gonna throw away the second one or share with somebody in a way -we have one and you have another, .. we'll still keep the second one too... but I think that One is plenty for us.." Reply by greekmum » Jan. 24, 2012 7:45am esperanza...I just saw your reply now! Yeah it was a pretty similar conversation with my hubby. He wouldn't mind...he says less work for me! since i would only have to be PG once...(he wants no more than 2 kids) but I might be able to convince him if both were to come out girls! He would love a boy. haha I wouldn't mind twins but I have always been concerned because I am a pretty little person. (5 feet and 105lbs) so there is always risk involved and I would rather have one very healthy baby than 2 unhealthy. But sometimes we are farther along then we expect. Therefor its like we are actually taking the HPT at 12 DPO or later...even though we think we are only 9DPO! Good luck and let us kow what your first scan shows!!! Report |

Reply by greekmum » Jan. 26, 2012 8:56am Hey ladies.. I thought I was in the clear on being sick too...but around week 7 it really started to kick in...I am week 11 and I still get it but only on occasion now... some women get lucky and dont get it at all and others experience nausea and sickness all day every day... ultimately its your bodies decision how you will react to being preggo... hopefully you wont have to go through that! sticky dust Report |

Reply by halo521 » Jan. 26, 2012 9:22am @Greekmum, I hope I don't get morning sickness! When I was pregnant with my son, I didn't have any symptoms whatsoever except for incredibly sore boobs...no cramping, bloating, nothing! Since I am experiencing the bloat, gas, and cramping with THIS pregnancy, Im pretty sure I may get morning sickness soon :-( It's so funny how each pregnancy is different! ![]() Report |

Reply by bannisterh » Jan. 26, 2012 11:39am Hey ladies! I found out I was preggos a week ago, but i'm only 4 weeks. For whatever reason, I tested positive really early this time. I'm feeling pretty good as well. Was having some brief headaches, but those seem to have stopped. Just thirsty, bloated, slightly sore nips, and the cramping that comes and goes. It's crazy, but I actually want morning sickness. I didn't have it with my MC, and I feel like that was a sign something was wrong, even though everyone tells me that isn't the case. I think i'll just feel better if I start feeling nauseus! Report |

Reply by knicole27 » Jan. 26, 2012 3:05pm wow I have not been here to update anyone in a while. I am 7 weeks now and i have had Nausea and MS since week 4. I went in two days ago for an u/s i was 6 weeks 5 days and they found TWO gestational sacs. Baby b they think will not make it however it appears at this time to be a vanishing twin. but I find out more on Feb. 1st. Because even though sac b was empty i have an and I quote from the doctors "wow you have a tilted uterus, titled much more extreme than most" so there is a chance baby b is hiding. Soooo that is why I have been all kinds of sick since week 4 and why my HCG levels have always been higher... but.. they make me DOUBLY sick. heh. Last night was a rough night. Each time I moved to do ANYTHING i would get sick. Got up to finish laundry.. got sick. Got up let out the dogs. Got sick. Got up to feed the dogs.. Got sick.... it was just one of those nights. *sigh* I have been given zofran but that does not always work. They have found ketones in my urine so I was diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum which is not uncommonly seen in twins. Anyways Baby A is looking great measuring a day or two ahead of schedule with a nice lookin ticker. :) Report |

Reply by halo521 » Jan. 26, 2012 8:40pm Hey knicole27! I have my fingers crossed that baby B is in there and just hiding! I actually went to the doctor's today for my first ultrasound. Although I am only 4 weeks, they wanted to see me early because I had a short cervix with my son. They couldn't really see anything obviously, but the technician noticed a sac with 2 black dots inside that she "thinks" may be twins! I know it's way too early to confirm that, but I can't help but be super excited at this point. Now I have to wait until Feb 7 to find out for sure... Report |

Reply by BriForMe » Jan. 31, 2012 1:29pm Will be 8 weeks Thursday and I'm already having to unbutton my pants when I sit! Nausea started last week, but vomiting began this week. Nausea has made it hard to find something "appetizing" to eat, to finish an entire serving and to keep it down! I also can't stand loud noises right now. But other than that, very happy for my first OB appt this week! : ) Report |
