TTC Cycle #3
EDD June 7th

CD 3 and i have my annual appointment with my doctor next Thursday, hope everything is ok.

Calvin so sorry to see us both here. Fngers crossed this is our month.

Yeah. Sucks. I'm CD7. Decided to try the last month prescription I have of clomid because I read it's cumulatively effective. No point in skipping a month till I'm out. I have a bottle of Vitex/chasteberry I'm dying to try, but you can't take both together so I guess that'll have to wait till next month (hopefully I won't need it.)

At least I have DH on board more this month. He admitted he wasn't into it, it was an off month for us - he wasn't feeling good and we only BD'd once in the window. He promises to "do his civic duty" this month and try harder. :)

I'm only on day 3 of the meds, but already I'm so bitchy!! The side effects seem to be more this month.

Just started my 2ww, which would give me a June 1st EDD. This is our first month trying after a MMC in July (we had been trying for 6 months prior to that).

I find the 2ww horrible... I make myself crazy analyzing every single thing my body is or isn't doing!

Today makes cd 2, starting clomid tomorrow. That'll give me a edd for June 12th. Was really hopeful last cycle because I'm using a known donor in another state and just so happened my fertile days were on the weekend and he could be here for 3 inseminations. Previous cycles in Feb and march we did 1 donation that was shipped. Now trting to figure out how to schedule this month for fresh donation, shipping is a waste to me. Can probably only get 1 insemination this month, just not sure which day to pick. OPKS confuse me with the 12-36 hours after positive opk. Not sure which day I really o if I have positives for 3 days in a row.

Why does each day, during every cycle seem to take so long before you can pee on a stick? Haven't even hit ovulation and I'm going crazy! Last month ended in a chemical pregnancy after watching my BFP get fainter and fainter followed by AF! Now on CD 10 with my cycles averaging about 34 days! Fx for everybody that this will be our month!

It does seem like forever. I'm just taking my last day of clomid tonight. Don't hit fertile period at the earliest till Sunday and DH is down with a bad cold, so I hope he recovers in time.

Storm, OPKs are simple if you remember that you are the most fertile the day BEFORE you ovulate, not the day OF. So as soon as you get that positive, insert the donation. That's your most fertile day and sperm can live up to five days inside you, so they can be up in the tubes waiting when you let the egg go the next day or the day after. You want them in place BEFORE ovulation actually occurs.

That's just how I'd do it. I give DH a five day window and we BD approx. day 1, 3, 4, 5 with O day being day 4. The egg can live up to a day so the day after O, you can still get pregnant. It's not as likely though. I know I ovulate around CD16, so CD 12-17 are our window. I'll confirm with OPKs though. Sometimes I've O'd earlier or later.

New here. Just started TTC last month. This month i used CB OPK & right now i am in the 2ww. If i did my timing correct & am lucky my EDD would be may 31- june 1. Driving myself crazy with symptom checking but i guess that's only natural . Wishing all you girls the best! Happy to be amongst ladies in the same boat!

Welcome kfrazel - good luck! The good news is, most of the new people get pregnant quite quickly. So looking forward to seeing your bfp!

AFM, I'm CD 13, still waiting for a positive OPK. They are slowly getting darker but no where near a surge yet. However, I think my husband might be ovulating lol. He's been super loving to me this week, having dreams about me and initiating BD'ing, which frankly, he never does. I don't know what's going on with his hormones, but I'm liking it. Maybe he's sensing something I don't. I've already asked him twice if he's cheating on me and just feeling particularly guilty or something lmao. (If you knew my DH, you'd know this was impossible, which makes it funny.)

Anyway, trying to keep low stress and have fun this month.

Calvingirl- it would be nice to see a BFP soon! I'd like to beat the summer! I lol'd when i read what you wrote about your husband ..it's cute when they let it slide how excited they are. Mine will occasionally say something hinting at how excited he is- then it's right back to his (lame) joke making :).

Right now i am 5/6 dpo so I'm just trying to stay out of my head. I have definitely had some cramping & teeth sensitivity/metallic taste in my mouth the past 2 days (along with a couple other things). It has been hard to ignore & the surpluse of pregnancy tests in my drawer have been too. I know it's way too soon but i can hear them tempting me lol.
