Low progesterone

I was referred to a specialist because of abnormal spotting/bleeding and she believed I wasn't ovulating. I went to the specialist on Friday and he ran pregnancy, prolactin, thyroid, and progesterone. He called me yesterday (he is closed Saturday, Sunday and Monday but he said he'd look at my levels and let me know because he wanted me to start Provera asap if I wasn't pregnant.)
So he called me yesterday and he could see my pregnancy test was negative and my prolactin and thyroid levels looked great. He couldn't see my progesterone but he said to go ahead and start my Provera. So I started Provera 10mg taking 2 pills, 2 times a day for 2 days. (8 pills total)
Well today on my portal my progesterone level was avaloable for me to see. It was 0.6!!! Isn't that super low?
I'm trying to keep my cool but he's closed tomorrow and I can't call until Tueaday. Has anyone had this low of a number?! ????????????????????
His plan was for me to take Provera to stop my spotting (I've been spotting for 33 days now. Very dark brown light spotting) and induce my period. Then call him when I start my period and start a fertility pill on cd5. (Clomid??) I am so scared now that's he's going to be like "you're levels are too low and I can't help you"

Hi,
I can't advise what low levels are but if they are low it is not the end for you. A lot of women have low progesterone levels and get prescribed progesterone suppositories or cream. Natural remedies are also available, off the top of my head look up Vitex, Macca root and natural progesterone cream. They are aimed at balancing out your hormones.
Your journey of ttc is just beginning so don't stress or worry. Now you have identified what could be wrong you can work on fixing it and get that bfp.
