Clear Blue - Confusing Results

Hello ladies. Im new to this site and this is my first post, so I hope Ive posted this in the appropriate place.

I have been TTC for 4 years, including a year of fertility treatments. So I have peed on many a stick and this is my first cycle when Im confused about the results.

Now, first off, I am not exactly sure I have my ovulation date correct because I have contradicting symptoms around time of ovulation. My temps, OPKs, and EWCM don't line up this month. My best educated guess is that I am 10dpo +/- a day or two.

I was going to wait and see if AF didn't show (yea right), but I broke down and tested with a non-digital Clear Blue test on 8dpo with FMU and I got a faint positive. I have gotten evap lines with these tests before and this was darker than that and not a squinter, but also not dark enough to be a blaring positive.

I tested again on 9dpo with FMU with both non-digital and digital Clear Blue tests. I got the same faint positive on the non-digital and a "not pregnant" on the "5 days sooner" digital test with weeks estimator.

Now today, 10dpo, I tested again (not FMU) and got a negative on both the digital and non-digital tests Clear Blue tests.

So here is my question. I know in general digital tests are not as sensitive as non-digital tests, but this CB digital claims "5 days sooner" so shouldn't it be just as sensitive as the non-digital "5 days sooner"?

Also, I know most people say First Response is the best due to sensitivity and pink dye, but I hate those. They always give me evap lines and get me all stressed out.

The Clear Blue digital ones have a sensitivity of 25 whatever the units are (can't remember). That's as sensitive as many others. BUT because implantation date can vary, as can the hCG levels and the rate of hCG increase, you could still be below that level of sensitivity. It says in the packaging (I got bored on the toilet, okay?) that only 56% of pregnant women get a positive result when testing 4 days before the missed period.

Hope that helps!
