Irregular, TTC and Tired
Okay so first off, sorry for the long read, but I am desperate. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for almost 4 years now. He is 23 and I am 21. We chart, BBT, I use multiple apps and OPKs. My cycles average 27 days, and for the most part they are 4 days long, every month. The exceptions being Nov/2015-March/2016 when I had no period. I moved twice, and my hubby was in training. During that time I had actually gotten a false positive test. Since then periods have arrived every month on the dates my Glow app has told me. This last cycle we were active every other day during the estimated ovulation cycle. My period was June 9th, and ovulation was estimated June 19-25th. I am slightly nauseated everyday, along with no energy. I have slight indigestion and hot flashes. All of these things can easily be blamed on something else. Anyway my Gyno did not take me seriously due to my age, and told me to come back in another year. Well I came back, and to her shock I still wasn't pregnant. She told me to lose some weight( I am not obese) and set up an appointment with a fertility specialist. Well we ended up having to move away from that area, and from the last experience you can see why I am not too ready to jump back into explaining myself to another gyno that is going to tell me to wait another year and come back. No we do not smoke, occasionally drink, and we are both active. I am looking for advise. No we cannot just run to the doctor right now, it isn't a money thing either. I appreciate everything that anyone can offer me, as long as it isn't "Go to the doctor".Please someone offer some insight!

Hi there,
I'm sorry you're having so much trouble.
I'm assuming your period may have been missed those few months due to some large life changes. Those may have caused you stress, and stress really messes with you.
I'm not entirely sure why you can't seek doctor's advice at this point as that's probably you're best opportunity at seeing what may be holding you guys up.
You aren't alone though with doctor's saying "to just wait it out," and that's a very lazy form of medicine. I was up front with my doctor (we've been TTC for 7 months - but very early menopause runs in my family) and that immediately prompted him to check my blood to ensure ovulation, and to send my husband for a basic sperm analysis.
If a doctor really isn't an option (which is my BIGGEST recommendation whenever that option is available to you), I'd consider fertility supplements. DH and I are using FertilAid for men and women. Pre-Seed is also a big method folks use when they aren't able to see the doctor/are out of options. It's a lubricant that mimics a female's most fertile CF.
There may just be some nutrients that you or your partner may be missing that could help you in getting pregnant.
Other than that, I'd suggest doing whatever you can to just relax, and try not to get yourself so anxious. Stress and anxiety are a huge problem for me, but I've started meditating with an app called Headspace.
It's 10 minutes and day and I have been a lot more calm since then. The first 10 days of it are free so you can try it. Use whatever means works for you. Reading, meditation, massage therapy, painting, exercising, whatever it is.
Avoid as much stress as possible.
Again, sorry you're having such a trouble. Wishing you the best of luck.
