I think I had a miscarriage last night... :(
DH & I have been TTC for 20 cycles now. We just had our first IUI and it had worked. Last week I was having Flu like symptoms or it was the Flu. I had had a Flu Shot the day I had the IUI which was only 10 days before I had these symptoms, since it takes 2 weeks for the shot to go through your system...probably was a form of the Flu. That day I had taken a test and it was positive. For 3 days I was getting positive results. Friday I had gone in for a blood test and Saturday I was told it was positive but low #'s and Progesterone levels were very low as well. I continued to test and noticed my tests were fading to negative. Monday I was put on progesterone pills and was told to take those twice a day and to come back Friday for another test. Well, Sunday I started spotting which the nurse also told me was normal unless I start soaking a pad in an hours time.
Well, last night it looks like I had a miscarriage. 
(TMI ALERT) I started bleeding a bit more throughout the day and when I wiped last night this deep red, thick, stretchy, glob of somewhat stickiness came out of me with a white see through mucussy looking something was attached to it. It was definitely not normal looking and it was a lot of it. I didn't know I was supposed to save it. After reading online and doing some research they recommend saving it. 
I don't feel pregnant either...just some slight cramps, like you get when AF shows and a headache but that is probably from all the crying I have done since last night. And even during this process the cramps weren't that terrible which made everything so confusing. You hear stories of women being in so much pain, maybe it's different compared to 4w 6d pregnant to those who are further along?
Since this happened last night I called the doctors early this morning. When they called me back the nurse said it's definitely suspicious of a m/c. I am to continue taking the progesterone pills till Friday and go in as soon as they open for a blood test. Then we will know for sure where my levels are at. Which is why I am not fixing my account yet to start over because I don't know where I am at. But even my temps are decreasing...so I am not very optimistic.
I asked the nurse when she called if we were still able to TTC and she said they usually want us to wait to have a couple normal periods before we continue. So I basically took that as no IUI for probably 2 months. But I suppose if we want to continue trying on our own that would be up to us.
I feel so numb and confused. Sitting here at my desk at work, fighting a headache and wishing I was home curled up in my DH's arms.
Has anyone else had that type of m/c discharge or hopefully had it and found out it's not an m/c? I pretty much know what I am going to hear on Friday but my sweet DH is trying so hard to keep the faith and pray it's still possible.

Aww, I'm also sorry to hear of your loss.
I can't help but feel that if I had gone with my gut instinct and gone in early that Friday morning for my blood test then I would have been on Progesterone pills right away and possibly saved my chances.
This Friday can't come fast enough. And the thought of them saying that I did indeed miscarry and that we have to now wait possibly 2 months to try again is devastating news for me. And to top off this month it's my birthday and I got stuck hosting Thanksgiving this year. 
So not in the mood. Everyone keeps telling me to wait till Friday to hear what the results are. That miracles do happen. I do believe in miracles...but lately I haven't seen many. The only one I saw was last week when I saw the BFP. But having a feeling and seeing what I saw Monday night I feel like that miracle got ripped away from me.
What sucks is also being at work and trying to keep it together too during this time. Really glad I didn't tell anyone except for my DH, Best Friend and the ladies in these forums.

Well, I found out last Friday I did indeed have a miscarriage and I have to wait 2 periods to try again. I asked the nurse what happens if we happen to get PG before then and she said at least wait 1 period but it was suggested to use foam and condoms. First of all I have never heard of using foam. And second of all I mentioned it to DH and he said no way. So, we are not going to have sex this cycle and start next month. But without really trying until Jan.
I am just so heartbroken that we are now out for 2 months. I had a hard time last year during this time of year because we had just found out my brother and his GF were pregnant. Now I have to deal with this. Starting to wonder if God is even going to let me get pregnant. I used to love the holidays but now as I get older I dread it. Starting off with my birthday this Friday turning 38 then Thanksgiving (which I am stuck hosting) and then Christmas and New years. The only thing that is making me feel even a tad better is at least I can get drunk during the holidays. I know that doesn't sound good but if I can mask what I am feeling to everybody else then maybe I can fake it better this year. Then if the IUI does work again in Jan then at least I can try to keep it quiet til Easter when I am 3-4 months pregnant.
I just had no idea how hard this was going to be.
