clomid after 40..anyone with success?

hi all..I'm about to start my 3rd cycle of clomid..a little background..I'm 42,ttc#4,17 cycles no bfp's...thyroid is good but I have a high FSH of 14 :( I ovulate on my own,my OB is prescribing, I have no infertility coverage so this will be my only intervention.

first 2 cycles 50mg=bfn

this time dosage is increased to 100 mg, will that help or make a difference..any advice or encouragement is appreciated

I am in the same boat. I am 40, ttc #2, my ds is 17! I took 2 rounds of clomid 50mg, and took my third round increased to 100mg this cycle. AF is due next Tuesday. I am waiting until at least Friday to test. I also ovulate on my own. Where are you in your cycle?

Hi tryingfor#2! I didn't have success on the clomid & after 21 cycles actively ttc we are calling it quits sadly..I hope you have better luck & baby dust to you too!
