Welcome and congrats Sezzy!! Nice to have someone here who has experienced what we're going through recently!

I just took my last Clearblue Digi this morning as I felt especially "not pregnant" yesterday with the cramps easing away. It said a BF "PREGNANT 2-3" which was super comforting to see that it has rises from 1-2 to 2-3 and is right on course with me being 4w+3d :))

Good morning! Anyone else dealing with some hypoglycemia?

Since last night, I'm smelling everything so strongly. It's awful!!!
Oh yeah and I woke up with another nosebleed.

Tomorrow is hopefully my last beta blood test to make sure I'm still increasing numbers. Then they want to do a 6 wee ultrasound.

I think I found a very aggressive doctor! Which I'm so grateful for.

I know you are so relieved to have an aggressive doctor, Dietician! I'm jealous that you will get to go in at 6 weeks for a scan. This waiting til 8 weeks is for the birds, although I know you can't see much as far as the baby goes much earlier. It will be a relief the day of the scan!

I have been spending my morning calling out insurance provider and figuring out what all they cover as far as maternity/labor&delivery and getting our ducks in a row :))

Ugh, I need to do that.

I did peek at childcare costs through work but it's outrageous. And somehow, waiting list is average 12-18 months around here.

Would be cheaper for me to quit my job which I'd probably dislike.

dietitianj; The sensitive smell is terrible with me, the OH and I go somewhere and I say can you smell that? He just thinks I am insane

LAAR; I also tested a few times as I couldn't quite believe it. I kept thinking I had faulty tests but it was all in my head

Now I have entered my second trimester, I am starting to feel so much better. The sickness has nearly gone and I am getting some energy back. My OH is grateful too as I am finally starting to get my sex drive back (sorry TMI!)

This wait to the 8w scan is agonizing but this time I'm hoping to have things to look forward to or to help count the time down. This week DH and I are going to a comedian live show and before we're going to have a few hours at the casino and have dinner. Which all will be great as we don't get much time away from ds. Then I've picked up extra shifts at work, then it's ds's 2nd birthday and were re-organizing the garage and ds's room and then it'll be scan time!
I get my Beta HCG numbers back today so I will update then.
