Emergency Surgery during TWW

Hi, all. I have nowhere else to turn to vent my frustration or express my concern. Today I am 8DPO. Saturday morning I woke up in extreme pain in my right ovary area, much unlike anything I had ever experienced before. I became convinced that the small cyst I had on my ovary had ruptured. I started developing a fever and as the pain increased I went straight to the ER.

Come to find out I had an appendix on the verge of bursting and within the hour they were prepping me for emergency surgery. I was 5DPO. I can't describe how gutted I emotionally felt. All that I could concentrate on was how good our timing had been this month and we both just felt SURE it was going to be our time to get that BFP. Now I'm dealing with a hard surgery recovery and can only imagine that any chances we could have had are gone.

I don't know the logistics of how it affects implantation but I can't even track symptoms as I am dealing with an entire set of other physical issues. Does anyone have a miracle story to tell? I'm trying to accept that we are out this month. So sad and frustrated. This is so hard.
