Femara for infreaquent ovulation

Hello all! This is my first cycle using femara + trigger shot. I am feeling a little discouraged. I have been taking 5mg days 5-9. My baseline scan showed follies 4,2, and 2mm. Today would be calendar day 11 and my ultrasound showed follies 7, 4, and 4mm. To me, his sounds like it didn't work. Usually I ovulate between day 28-33 on my own. We have been trying for a long time to conceive with a few losses and are hopping to improve our odds by increasing the number of ovulations a year. I go back in three days for another scan to see if there is a change.

Has anyone had any experience with something similar? Do these numbers show that the femara won't work at this dose or does it have to do with my usual late ovulation? Any stories or knowledge would help! Thanks everyone for reading this!
