Any IUI veterans out there?

Hello All, my wife and I have a beautiful, almost 2 year old daughter. We are trying for baby no. 2 and haven't had any luck so far. We have gone through 9 cycles of IUI. And now the doctor wants to have a consultation. The prospect of missing this month is making me super nervous. Not to mention, now my mind is racing that perhaps there is something wrong with me! (it took 3 cycles of IUI to conceive our daughter, no history of complications either)

Can anyone who has been through this walk me through the steps?
