Bleeding? Tmi I'm sure

Today I'm hypothetically 15dpo in my 28w cycle, since it's my first cycle I'm not temping or ovulation testing. Today I thought I was starting because I was wiping and two bright red dots smaller than mini m&ms appeared so I pouted and put in a tampon. Over eight hours later nothing further on any tampons.
May I not be out? I know implantation bleeding world happen around now but I thought it wasn't bright red. Anyone have this happen?
If it's possibly implantation bleeding how long should I wait to test, might it show tomorrow our would it need longer after implantation?

I had implantation bleeding the day my af was due and the day after(14 + 15dpo) I assumed it was my af starting so didn't bother testing, the spotting was only there when I wiped 2-3 times on each of those days. On the 3rd day there was nothing so I tested the day after that a got a bfp! No faint line, no need to squint! took a digital the same day and it was positive. I am now 11 weeks pregnant(scan confirmed gestation) take a test, fingers crossed for you x
