TTC month 13

Hi,

This is my 13th month ttc and I am feeling sad. I'm trying to stay positive by repeatedly telling myself that I will get pregnant. It's hard this time. I thought for sure I would be pregnant by now.

I ordered the clearblue fertility monitor, I'm using OPK every month, I bought wild yam cream. I've tried keeping my temperature but I had to stop because it made me nuts. I did acupunture and I stopped working out.

IF there is anything else that is recommended please let me know. I am waiting to see a fertility specialist.

Oh missus. I can so feel your pain. Have been off the pill since January 2013 so been trying 20 something month now. Well when I say trying we hardly ever seem to get bding on the right days as my cycle seems to be screwed up since we properly started to try (nov '13) (before just stopped using bc)
Been using lots of opks and never get a really good positive and even invested in the clearblue digital advanced test which where supposed to give you 2 more days then any other test. I ended up having about 12-13 high fertility data with no peak fertility but as I am always checkingy temperature I always have the rise after O.
It's its just so confusing and driving me crazy. Like you I also thought it would be so east. Everybody around me seems to be getting pregnant just not me.
Was really hoping this month was a bfp snide I had all the symptoms and cycle was really long (37 days) but just got af today.
Hubby will be away with with most of next month. I am turning 29 on Sunday and am worried that if it doesn't happen soon it might not happen at all.
Here is hoping we will both be blessed with beautiful and healthy babies and easy pregnancies in the very near future.
Would be interesting to hear how you get on with the monitor.

Hi,

I got AF this week so I turned on the fertility monitor to use it this month. I'm hopeful it works. This is our 14 month and I think I am in shock because I'm not pregnant.

I also realized that I will be 33 by the time I have my first baby (when I get pregnant) which is contributing to my shock.

I think about it all the time and I find the entire experience frustrating and I feel that my life is in limbo because so many things are tied to us having a baby. I'm learning to except the limbo.

Are you going to see a specialist? Have you tried any of the many fertility products on the market (that industry is eating away at my bank account)?

I'm crossing my fingers for you!!!

I totally understand how you feel. My husband and I have been trying for 2 1/2 years. It's no fun at all. My honest advice is to go to a gyno and look into why you're not getting pregnant. I did, and it turned out I had Dermoid teratoma cysts in my ovaries, and I have to get them removed. My ovaries were totally shut down. And then, my thyroid was too high, so we've been getting that under control with medication. It's a very painful process to I through but seriously, go to a doctor and start investigating! I think this month I for sure ovulated and even seen Signs of implantation bleeding. So I'm hoping my time has come. Good luck to you, and I hope to hear what you have found out.
