Cough Syrup?

I have been reading about several people using cough syrup containing only Guaifenesin and becoming pregnant. Any insight? Trying it this month.

Guaifenesin is useful to thin out your cervical mucus. It doesn't make more mucus, just helps out what is already there.

Be careful though, it can make your mucus REALLY watery, to the point that you don't notice the eggwhite slippery stuff you are looking for. Hope this helps!

I DID notice mine wasn't the same consistency, which made it harder to notice the natural signs of ovulation. I just had to follow my opk's. It freaked me out at first though, thanks for the info it puts me at ease a bit!
