TTC in my early 20's, need some encouraging

OK, had a chemical pregnancy last month, on CD20, 6DPO, 6 months trying now, my DH and I BD all throughout the month, during my fertile period, at least every day, sometimes more, day of ovulation posible twice, sometimes more, I'm getting really stressed or worried that I cannot concieve a child, my sister at the age of 24 had already had 3 abortions and one pregnancy she kept, I have the most wonderful nephew, she was pregnant just 3 months from being with her man, I am a happily married women, we both work, and both want a baby. My best freind fell pregnant at 18 not wanting the child but still got one, everyone says it just takes one go, but I'm failing to see that one! is obviously not my magical number, here where I live I have to go through two years of trying before fertility trials. My DH has had one and his sperm count is great. I'm just rather sad, that I would love a child and I know that it will come when it has to, and I cant control when... But It can be so frustrating that my 28 year old bosses daughter that didn't want a child and now has two. Why is it that the ones that don't want them has them, and the ones that want one have more trouble. Maybe I have the case of green eyed monster, but I need just some kind of encouragement, This month I've trying to ban myself from looking up symptoms, or OPK. Just 8 days before AF is due and trying to stay busy at work, and carry on like any old day.

Hi Miranda,

My name's Audrey. I'm 21 and my DH is 27. We've been trying since December and still no luck for us as well. It's not always a one time go, even when we're young and healthy. I would love for us to chat more. It's nice to have a 20 something in the same situation as me as far as being married and wanting to have children.

As for other people, things always happen in weird ways. I'm not reeally religious but I believe if you put out positivity you will get it back. Try not to worry about others and focus on you, dh, and a baby.

I'm so sorry about the chemical. I had an early miscarriage about 2 years ago, even a chemical can be tough emotionally.

As fro fertility treatments, do you have any issues such as irregular periods

Hope to hear from you soon!

xoxo

Hey y'all!

My name is Mel and I'm 25. Not quite in the same boat, I'm not married, but I did have an early MC two years ago. I wasn't ready then but I think I am now! I've always wanted a baby but this is the first time in my life where it actually looks possible and before the MC I was so excited. This is our first official month of "trying" but I haven't been on birth control in over a year and we don't use protection. After my MC I was worried that it would be impossible for me to conceive(how can you not feel that way?) and after a year of unprotected BD I'm getting a little more worried. It comforts me to know there are people my age wondering the same thing. I'd love to obsess with y'all or be of some comfort during this anxious stage of our lives.

Hello Audrey,

I was really dissapointed with the chemical, but I can't imagine what a misscarrige must feel like, I do baby sit both of my bosses grand-daughters, and my nephew, even though some times I get jelous, I would never take it out on the children, they were very lucky to have them,

I'm very glad you replied being in a very similar situation as myself, I'm not religous either, but I do believe in karma, and destiny.

No in fact my periods are very regular with a 13 Luteal Phase. every 28 days AF, and CD 15 O, that is basically every month but sometimes I O on 13/14, but apart from that.

I have been TTc since September, and I can be a rather impatiant person. But thanks to you comment I think I can just keep taking day by day and see, what happens,

Baby dust!!! Fingers crossed for you too!! xxx

Hi Mel!

I def know what you mean. I have also not been on bc for awhile, like almost 3 years now! And we never use condoms but I would aviod having sex around ovulation, which I used to be able to predict. Hope you get your BFP soon!!

Miranda- So you use OPK's, but other than that have you started taking any supplements or temping?

AFM- I've been fairly regular until now.My periods were always 28-30 days apart but sometimes i would bleed for 2 days and other 7. So that's strange. Right now I'm on cycle day 42. No af or bfp. I talked to my doctor and had a scan last friday to check for polycystic ovaried but it was good. Just waiting on the official report to see what to do.

Hi Mel,

I wouldn't worry too much, I also was on BC, I used them for about 6 months and been off them for a year now,

We can all stress with you and also encourage you here too.

Audrey, I had been using OPK for 3months, but decided not too this month, it sounds stupid but seeing the positive OPK I just feel like I could get a BFP but AF seems so arrive right on time, (apart from when I had the chemical)

Well let's just keep our hopes up that by the end of 2016 we will all have our rainbow baby!!

Hi all, just stopping in to say hi as another 20 something ttc. Dh and I are 24, married for 2 and a half years. We just decided to start trying last cycle but I think we missed ovulation time deciding too late. So I'm currently 3dpo our first full cycle ttc. Some moments I'm all positive and think "there's no reason I wouldn't have concieved, I have to be pregnant!" and others I'm like "don't even get your hopes up, you're not so lucky to get it the first try". We BD two days before and the day of O so I have my fingers crossed. Looking forward to checking in, baby dust to all!
