How to take a better picture

I love to stalk the pregnancy test gallery and live through the excitement of others (while I wait for our BFP for #2)...

Not sure how many people will read or acknowledge this (of if it's already posted) but here goes!

Focusing: I know it seems difficult to get that perfect picture of that super faint like THAT YOU KNOW IS THERE but dammit, the camera won't focus! The answer? Use a wedding band or key ring to bring focus to the lines. Some women place it next to the test window, others put the line in question in the middle.

Cropping: I can't tell you how many people get false negative votes because no one can see the 1/4 test window on their 22+ inch monitors. Most phones have the ability to crop photos, or there are plenty of free photo editors.

Image too bright/reflection: Once you get the hang of items 1 and 2, you will realize that it's difficult to see your faint lines if the image is too bright, you can either use a photo editor to fix this, or angle the test to get rid of the reflection.

Saturation: Some women pick up the faintest of lines earlier from playing with saturation on their phones. Especially with the pink dye tests, it will amplify that ultra faint pink line and give it more color. Can this get your hopes up? Some will say yes, but when you aren't sure you see what you really see-- it gives you something to obsess over until you test again.
