Introduction

I just wanted to formally introduce myself and see if anyone is in a similar situation as myself. I'm 28 and planning on conceiving later in the year(boyfriend's idea, not mine). I'm starting to track cycles(day 2 today) and getting myself as healthy as I can. Cycle buddy anybody? Hoping for a May/June baby(boyfriend hopes for a girl). What's the best ovulation test? Are the trackers/calculators pretty accurate? Any products I should try? I'm grateful for an recommendations/advice.

My husband and I did the same thing last year as far as waiting a bit before trying. I wanted to lose some weight, get myself healthy and start tracking my cycles. We also went for a preconception exam a month before trying so we could have our questions answered. And I started taking prenatal vitamins before and after TTC.

I've used Wondfo and First Response for my ovulation tests and they seem to work. I haven't conceived yet but we've only been trying for 6 cycles.

HI! Well hopefully you are ok with this as well and not just your bf! The best ovulation tests are going to be your expensive ones, clear blue or first response that take the guessing out it! But the cheap internet ones are pretty darn good if you are charting, that is currently what I am using. I also chart and am currently 4DPO, not actively trying yet but hopefully June or July. I have never tried the calculators or any trackers. Good luck!
