Positive hpt negative blood test

Okay, so 2 cycles ago I had multiple positive hpts. My obgyn office couldn't get me in for two weeks, and during the waiting time I had a miscarriage. I kept my appointment, and I had a blood test to confirm my hcg was down to 0 so we could try again.

This cycle, at 10 dpo I got a positive frer. Then over the next days, 4 more positive frer and 2 positive clear blue digitalis. .last night I started spotting so called the obgyn and after much argument, they agreed to give me a blood test. They called with the results - negative, the nurse said that I was never pregnant because I would still have hcg in my system. She basically told me I need to buy better pregnancy tests. When I told her they were first response and clear blue digital, the nurse seem shocked but totally dismissed me.she said their test considers a positive anything over 6, so I was under 6 miu. I was crushed, so went to the dollar store and bought the one step $1 tests - 2 positives. I'm not sure what to think.

Anyone experience anything similar. The people at my ob's office think I'm a nut job.
