IUI and trigger shots

Had a trigger shot on Nov 3 at 930 am and an IUI Nov 4 at 230pm. My nurse who did the IUI told me to wait till Nov 19 to take a test but I've been testing the trigger out of my system the last few days. Saturday and Sunday I had posture tests (because of thr trigger) today I had a negative test. Would that be normal so soon after the shot? We've been trying to conceive for 5 years TTC , 4 miscarriages and 3 failed cycles of just Clomid so we're super excited to find out this cycle if it's worked. Any and all help answers or just support is truly welcomed and appreciated.
