Chemical

I'm so frustrated. I got a positive last Thursday 6/12. Had the best weekend ever then woke up at 4:00 in the morning on Monday 6/16 to cramps and bleeding. I was right around 5 weeks. I'm assuming this was a chemical. Dr. didn't want to see me, just have my blood drawn. Was it a chemical and should I consider 6/16 as CD1?

I'm sorry! It was so hard to understand why my dr office wasn't more proactive when I started bleeding at 5 weeks earlier this year. At that time I didn't understand what a chemical was. Been TTC since and fear this happening again. From what I understand, yes, cycle day 1 is when your bleeding began. For me, I went right on to O as usual that cycle. I know this is not easy, but hang in there. It felt like a cruel joke to me. I couldn't figure out what my body was telling me. Let yourself express your emotions instead of keeping them in. I need to do that too!!!

So sorry for your loss. When I had my chemical last year, I was seeing a fertility specialist. They had advised to take a cycle break to let my hormones get back to normal. I was still having pregnancy symptoms a month after the CP (nausea, sore boobs, etc) which they said was normal. My CP happened beginning of July and my cycle went back to normal by September. Hope this helps.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss :-( I completely understand the feeling. This is my fourth pregnancy in four months. I have No Problem getting pregnant but I can't seem to carry them.

The first was an ectopic and the next two were chemical. I can say this time that I ovulated exactly around the same time that I would have from the date I started bleeding heavily. Mind you, I have not had a "real" period since before the first one.

The doctors aren't being very supportive for me so I have been doing my own research. I have started taking b12, b6, 1 baby aspirin a day progesterone cream twice a day and my vitamin. So far, so good but it's still very early. I can say that my symptoms are much stronger this time and my levels are rising quickly. This is much different from the first ones. This last monday I had a syrum of 2 in the morning and then came home and took a test and it was as super faint positive. That means that my levels rose enough in the course of the day enough to show positive on a home test (Dollar Store brand) they are the best - see my HPT images.

If you didn't have to get a d&c or get a methotrexate shot then maybe try again right away? Do some research on your own and see what you can come up with.

Best of luck!!! I really hope that my comment helps you :-)
