Hgreen87- your positive energy is giving me hope even though i couldnt prevent myself from trying a hpt and showed nothing . Im convincing myself its still early to find out; which made sense when i tried the pregnancy test timing calculator in this website (stated 17 dpo). Are you still af? sometimes its normal to bleed a little for a few days. unless u also took a hpt which verified its not ur month.

I sure hope you and MammaD have a successful acupuncture this time to get bfn !!

I know how you feel hgreen87. Every month you lose a little more hope. I don't chart anymore either. I have not been monitored since being on the femara. Just using opks. I'm looking forward to being monitered next month. I wish I had planned on doing iui this month. I feel like if it hasn't happened in the 21 months I have been ttc its not going to happen naturally. Oh well I guess I can wait another month. They told me if I only produce 1 follicle they will skip the iui for that month and move to injectables for the next month. They want at least 2 but no more than 4. That's great that you are doing acupuncture! The first time you go they ask alot of questions which i liked because I feel like everytime I try and bring up something to a Dr. that is abnormal they act like its nothing. In Chinese medicine everything means something. They really focused on the emotional aspects of ttc too. I felt like I was talking to a therapist the first couple of times. It felt good to talk about it. The Dr.s don't ask lol

I haven't taken an HPT, but today is the 3rd day of premenstrual spotting so I pretty much know AF is on her way. I'm only 10DPO so my actually flow won't start until Tues or Wed of next week. I filled my Femara prescription last night so I'm all ready to go for CD3. And I meant to say he prescribed me 2.5mg, not 50mg (I got confused with the Chlomid dosage). The Dr. wants me to do cycle monitoring again at the clinic so we know how many follicles are developing. We're also hoping for 2-3 but any more than that and he said to use protection.

Also, I gave the acupuncture a try last night. The appointment started off great. Like you said MammaD, he asked LOTS of questions and seemed to carefully consider every answer. Much different than the Dr. who just seems to tell me everything I describe is "normal". But once the treatment got started I kind of lost it. He put the first pin in my head and it triggered a lot of anxiety (which isn't normal for me). About 4 pins later I had to ask him to stop & remove the pins as it was just getting unbearable. It didn't hurt @ all, but the thought of laying there with pins poking out of me and not being able to move was just toooooo much for me. So needless to say, I don't think I'll be trying that again.

Girls im officially out! Mamma rosa showed up and im in pain and git all emotional i started crying on my husbands shoulders. I couldnt help myself and i was very sad theres was no baby dust.
All the emotional roller coaster i go through as a result of the injectable horemones can be too much to handle especially when no one around u understands the jest of it. I dont know whether i should contact my clinic to start the next cycle or take a month off.
MammaD i loved how you said that the acupuncture specialists care about ur emotional and physical situation in ttc as opposed to doctors who r just "technical" go for it dear cuz i believe the emotional part of ttc is crucial and plays ta major role ofn success rates of successful conception.

Im gonna take ur advice girls and skip all the tracking dilemma and take it easy

Ah geeze I'm sorry Amy, the day AF shows is the worst!!! It's hard enough as it is, im sure all the injectibles just make it so much worse. Take the day and mourn what could have been. For me AF day means McDonalds, wine and doing something nice for myself. You don't have to make any decisions quite yet, Tomorrow is CD2 and it's a new day :)

Sorry to hear that Amy! I know how you feel! I was so very hopeful last cycle and then bam af showed up. Hgreen is right about tommorow being a new day. Hang in there girl. It will happen!

I decided to give this cycle a break especially after informing my clinic that im out this cycle. They told me my next step is to go for IVF. I was like (!!!!!). So i told them i will need a short break so I can start fresh and strong the coming one.

The odd thing is I had a full flow for three days nothing at all today. It usually lasts for 6-7 days and gradually stops flowing. plus my breasts are still sore and im tired the whole time. the hpt was negative the same morning before i got my period. Hmm... could it be my hormones?

Amy it sounds like you are making a great choice taking a break this cycle. Just take it easy & give your body (and brain!!!) a little holiday :)

Weird about AF switching it up this month. She sure does like to play games, doesn't she? I find just when I think I know what my body is up to, something switches on me. Who knows why, maybe the meds, maybe hormones?

AFM, 13DPO and still spotting (since 8DPO) so I'm just waiting on AF to make her grand entrance tomorrow, but of course hanging on to that last shred of hope. I've been good and haven't tested this cycle. A very busy weekend really helped keep my mind of the TWW. I've got my Femara ready to go & I'm just hoping to see 2-3 beautiful follies next cycle.

Well AF showed this morning, grrrr. I always find after a longer cycle (33 days) my AF symptoms are so much worse. Really bad cramping and back aches today :(

I'm all set to start the Femara this Fri (CD3) and I'll begin cycle monitoring at the clinic next Friday (CD10). I'm actually strongly considering going for the IUI this month (as recommended by my FE) if the ultrasound shows 2 or 3 good follies. If it's only 1, then I'll wait until another cycle when we get the dosage right to produce more than one egg. Hopefully hubby is on board with this plan, since my original plan was to try just using the Femara for a couple cycles.

Hey Hgreen! join the club dear :D I fully encourage you to try IUI this month especially if you already tried Femara alone before. I used to think IUI was a big deal of a procedure until the nurses told me I can move on with my daily activities. I discovered otherwise! I should have rested well and not pushed myself cuz later i was feeling constantly tired and in pain.
I encourage you to think loud with your hubby on your thoughts so he doesnt get surprised hahaha thats what happened with me! then he discovered it was a piece of cake and went with me into the IUI procedure and held my hand. he felt he was a part of the process.

My af showed up after a day and a half after being absent. I tried a hpt but it was negative. I guess i still had a speck of hope hahaha. Im in day 7 and still experience mild pelvic pain :(.

I have hope left for MammaD. I'll be delighted when one of us gals gets baby dust this cycle!
