Basal Temping - ear thermometer?

Is it possible ladies?
I sleep with my mouth open so its not working.
I don't really like the idea of vaginally so any other suggestions?

According to TCOYF you're not supposed to use an ear thermometer. I just read that last night. It's not sensitive enough or something like that.
