Congrats. Ive not conceived directly after a miscarriage, or chemical. My chemical preg came and went within a day or so. Im not understanding why you think your hcg should be in the thousands? Everyone's body metabolizes hcg differently. But your initial one of 10 should only be concerning if it isn't doubling every 48hrs give or take. What have your numbers been since the quant of 10?

I only say the 1000s because that's what the doctor told me. They say anything about a 5 is considered pregnant. However I do believe it should have been much higher than 10 at 4 weeks. I haven't had any bloodwork done yet with this pregnancy. Doctor isn't in until monday so I'm hoping he will get me an appointment sooner or bloodwork over a few days. 2 days after I got my hcg of 10 I started bleeding and went to the hospital and said there was no more hcg in my blood obviously indicating a m/c. For my chemical I expected longer bleeding or similar to a period but it was so short, which I thought was odd. So just for my information I decided to take an ovulation test 2 weeks after that and I was ovulating. I figured it would take a month or two for my body to get back to normal. Guessing it was a super early pregnancy that's why it was so short? It's all speculation at this point lol. I'm just hoping without having a cycle in between that I'll be able to have a healthy 9 months. I'm super excited but trying to contain it because of last month. Thank you for the congrats. How are things going now, Ashley? I am ttc after my mc at 7 weeks. I may just be preg again but too early too tell. I am concerned. I don't want to mc again. Were your symptoms somewhat similar second time around but everything turned out ok? Thanks!! (ttc this time around is so much diff with symptoms and it may be b/c my last child was born through c section. idk)

I am currently 15 weeks along with my baby boy. Everything is going perfect! :)

My symptoms were severe with my miscrriage. I feel like they were sped up 10 fold. Yes I had the normal pregnancy symptoms. Some similar but they just weren't as severe.
