Struggling to conceive is my previous cesarean to blame

Hi, I've been trying to conceive now for nearly a year. I've been using ovulation predictor kits and always had sex at least 4 days over the positive sign days. Still not pregnant.
My first child was born by emergency cesarean and afterwards I had complications for several months, they weren't sure if I had an infection in my womb or a bit of retained placenta. 6 months of bleeding and then after some pills it cleared up.

I can't seem to conceive though and I wonder if it's because of the cesarean.
Has anyone else had this problem.
Thank you.

I have heard that even if a healthy embryo tries to implant on the scar tissue from your previous c-section that it would not implant, that said, there is a good chance that it won't land on that material, so certainly not enough to impact consistently.

Keep trying. I tried for 8 years to have my son. Never give up it will happen.

Thank you. I'm 12 dpo (today) and not a great one at remembering what are period symptoms and what are pregnancy symptoms. With my first I was 7 weeks before I noticed and I can't remember what triggered me thinking I was.

I'm not going to test at all if my period comes In the next week that is my answer.

Always nice to hear when other people are successful.
