First month trying to conceive a singleton after a twin surprise. I have fraternal twin girls aged 18 months and am really hoping for a single baby, boy or girl. Please please ovaries... No more twins. It took 4 months to get pregnant last time, so I am hoping for quicker success too. Not many requests then!

Wishing for violet welcome . Just be strong. It is really hard to have friends and have everything set when most of them are not there yet. Just do what makes you happy and don t care too much about what they say. Also you don t have to tell them everything neither. Something's are better to keep only between a tight circle.

Contemplating: How are things going?

MrsRabren: thank you for the advice

Contemplating: I am not being monitored unfortunately. I just try to keep positive and hope for that

Margie_M: you can do it

Shananabooboo: Welcome! to you as well

MMcalli: just keep on like me

AFM: as well

I am not sure I will wait until next Thursday but I might start on Sunday or Monday.

MMcalli, welcome! I've never heard of Pregnitude but it sounds like it's awesome stuff if it caused to you ovulate so quickly! I'm sorry your TWW has been going by so slowly. It's not really unusual to have multiple patches of fertile CM with long cycles but since you've done the Pregnitude, you might just have to wait and see what happens this time around. I would still try to BD when you have EWCM, if possible, because there's a chance you might not have ovulated when you thought you did. OPKs can definitely be misleading and wrong... Are you temping? It is really the best way to figure out what's going on. Some people find it makes them anxious but others say it's a blessing because then they know for sure. Hang in there!

Lalou3tt3, welcome, as well! I stalked your chart along with MrsRabren and based on what I'm seeing with your OPKs and temps, I would say you probably ovulated on CD15, although CD16 is a possibility too but we won't know for sure until you have a few more temps logged. Ovulation dips are pretty common and that's what it looks like happened, followed by a spike on CD16. I would expect your temperature to stay high and probably keep rising for the next few days. You can look at a few of my charts if you want for comparison. FXed you caught an egg and welcome to the TWW!

Margie_M, that's awesome that your follicles and lining are great! Kinda stinks about the triggering... I'm not really familiar with the process -- are they not triggering because there are 3 follicles and one of them isn't more dominant or is it strictly because there are 3 follicles? I guess I'm just confused because jeskalillis had 4 follicles around the same size and she used a trigger.... perhaps a different doctor/clinic would be more willing? In any case, I hope you get that positive OPK soon! GOOD LUCK and stay positive!

Clarabelle, I've always heard that if you're pregnant enough to have symptoms then you're pregnant enough to turn a test positive but I've never really believed that! 3 DPO is probably too early BUT it's still important to log any symptoms so you have a baseline to compare against. The symptoms of PMS and pregnancy are all very similar early on but what matters are the symptoms that are different or unusual from the norm. One cycle, I had almost no PMS symptoms at all, which was unusual for me... lo and behold, BFP! Keep symptom spotting!

Shananabooboo, welcome and good luck in your TWW! Be sure to let us know about any symptoms you have!

Wishingforviolet, I'm sorry you've not had a good month It sounds like your friends maybe don't know how their teasing is hurting you. If you really do enjoy their company, perhaps let them know that there insensitivity is upsetting you. If it continues after that, then I would definitely consider finding some new friends. It sounds to me like you'll make a great mother so I wouldn't listen to them... and you definitely don't have to go through this journey alone. You have lots of support between your family and us here Also, I really hope you find your cat. Have you done any scouting of the area or put up any flyers? That may also help take your mind off the TWW -- at least you didn't miss a chance this cycle!

singleton_please, welcome and good luck this cycle!

MrsRabren, I use FF too and it has my coverline at 97.06. I have no idea what it was set to on Countdown before but I think it was between 97.4 and 97.5 because I remember thinking it was high due to my temp dropping so slowly from my previous cycle. I just noticed that it moved today and thought that was weird! Also, I'm excited to see that I have a potential triphasic chart! Unfortunately, the link isn't taking me to yours but the fact that there are similarities to your BFP chart is awesome! My symptoms have been really similar to my BFP cycle in March, too, so I'm cautiously optimistic right now. Good thing work has been crazy busy (I've put in 40 hours already since Monday) -- it has helped keep my mind off this!

Purlex, Lalou3tt3, clarabelle31 - for your 2ww! let us know if you have posted any tests.

singleton_please - Welcome! Sending you some single

WishingforViolet - You need to do what is right your you and your partner. Have you told your friends how their comments make you feel? I know how hard it is to have a missing pet and as a fellow cat lover my heart breaks for you. I hope you find her soon. Good luck with the BDing and enjoy!

MMcalli - trying to figure out O can be very challenging! It does sound like you have Od. The advice we were given is to BD every 2-3 days over your whole cycle irrespective of when you think you might have Od, and that is what we have been doing for the last few cycles, that is why I wasn't temping. Apparently the regular movement of sperm helps to get higher and stronger counts. So keep at it... and keep having fun ... might make the 2ww go past a little faster.

Shananabooboo - Welcome!

Margie_M - hope all goes well for your IUI for the weekend!

MrsRabren - Glad everything worked out with your donor!

AFM - I'm officially "late" today. I'm hoping the Dr will do a blood test on Friday, but not sure if he will. I have posted a pic of how the test strips have progressed, got a darker stripe today! No signs of morning sickness yet... just felt little spacey around lunch time. Thanks for all the well wishes, it means so much to be able to share the early part of this journey with people that are going through similar experiences!

http://www.countdowntopregnancy.com/pregnancy-test-gallery/my-pregnancy-test460598 - if you want to see my progression I have posted a new pic

Hoping to have some news of more soon.

Purelex: Your bbt chart looks great. I do see that your coverline shifted to a higher temp. I have had my coverline in some of my chart but they have not shifted that much. I tried reading up about it and the only explanation I could find is that is your second coverline due to your tri-phasic shift. I have pasted the link below:

Contemplating: So happy for you! Wish you again and again!

Lalou3tt3: Good Luck for testing this weekend!

singleton_please: Welcome to the forum!!!

MrsRabren: Welcome to the forum!!!

WishingforViolet: I hope you find your cat soon. and hope we get lucky this month!

AFM: I dont have much to report. I am trying super hard not to symptom spot especially considering that I am only 4dpo today. Is it true that all symptoms start only after implantation which is typically 7-9 dpo? Any thoughts?

Sorry if I missed out anyone! Welcome to all the new members of this forum and hoping for a flood of this month!

MrsB11 and dsinha1011, we are cycle twins! I'm also 4dpo and trying not to symptom spot because I feel it's too early. However, maybe it is possible for some symptoms to be seen after fertilization but before implantation? I don't know! I will keep tracking my symptoms though, like purelex recommends! BTW this tww is going by soooo slowly!!!

Contemplating: what brand are your IC tests? I feel like I haven't seen those before! I commented on your pic too but your progression looks very nice!!

WishingforViolet: try not to let your friends get you down! They don't sound like very good friends. Also I hope you find your cat soon!!

singleton_please: welcome and hoping you get your singleton BFP soon!!

AFM: My temp rose a bit today, and I woke up feeling hot again with a bit of a sore throat. My hpt lines (from the trigger shot) are getting really faint now. I'm hoping they are completely gone within the next few days!

Lalou3tt3 sure! I'll get that set up tonight. I don't actually have a chart on here so I'm guessing I'll have to manually enter everything? lol. I currently use an iphone app to track.

Haha a big testing day! That sounds fun! We should start listing dates of when we are going to test so it's easier to keep track.

I am planning to test every day to continue to monitor the hcg leaving my system from the trigger, but I think I am aiming for 10/1 (11dpo) as my "real" test date. So, 1 week from today!!

Hoping for a for everyone!!

Clarabelle Awesome idea!!!!! Woooo . My real date would be Tuesday but I know some women got as early as 7DPO although it s rare. So who is for I will suggest Monday with FMU ( first morning urine). Would it be too early for you Clarabelle ? Maybe, maybe not?
