Irregular cycles

hey all

sorry to bother you again,

just a quick question, i am heading to my doctors next week as me and my boyfriend are trying to get pregnant. We currently dont live together (its a work in progress before anyone says we shouldnt really try then, we should be sorted within 3month lol) im really excited at the thought and cant wait til it becomes real (pregnancy) so timing it can be hard work but to make it worse my cycles are irregular so im never sure when is the right time. My question is would the doctor prescribe me something to sort out my cycles or am i wasting my time going?

thanks for your help

I worked as MA at an OB/GYN for awhile and the only thing that I remember my dr saying they will do to regulate period is birth control. you should still go though and talk about anything that concerns you or questions you have. I found out just from working there that my cycles were irregular due to me having endometriosis and a to have surgery which is the only 100% way to diagnose it). wish you the best of luck with ttc!
