Poor you! I know its hard, I'm currently CD18 but I felt exactly the same as you on cd1! We need to look at it as the beginning of the next 'chance' rather than the end of last one. I also had a chem last cycle, DH and I got so excited when we saw a faint line on 11dpo :(
It's also hardest on cd1 with all the hormonal changes going with it, ride it out for a day or 2 and you know you'll feel better.
I'm also ttc#4 btw, my worry is that I'm running out of time!
DH and I resolved to BD as much as possible this cycle!!! If it doesn't work at least we've had fun ;)
