ttc #2 with irregular periods help!
hi ladies
im trying to concieve baby number 2 ive been on microgygon pill for under a year and came off it in early december and had a regular period when i finished it but ever since then im having a period every 2 weeks which is making it impossible to know when im ovulating its really getting me down now any help would be appreciated thanks xx

Your best bet it to start tracking your basal body temperature which is taking your temperature at the same time every morning (after at least 3 hours of sleep) before getting out of bed. This can be challenging (esp. with another baby), but this is only way to confirm ovulation has occurred on your own.
You can also use LH test strips. This methods suggests when you may ovulate, but this is only confirming you have had a chemical surge (of LH) and does actually confirm ovulation has occurred. There can be many reasons why you may experience an LH surge but not actually ovulate.
Once you have tracked your cycles for a few months you will be able to determine if and when you are ovulating. If you are ovulating too close to your period or not at all for a few continuous cycles then you should speak to your Dr.
