3 years, 2 miscarriages, no baby, no explanations

Hi, this is my story. I am hoping that maybe this will help some or at a minimum help me. In 2009 I married the love of my life. We began ttc in March 2011. In May 2012 with no success, we began seeing a specialist. We were considered an unexplained infertile couple. All of our parts were working, but for whatever reason, we weren't getting pregnant. We became pregnant with our first round of clomid & iui in July 2012, but discovered in late august that the baby didn't have a heart beat. We went through 5 more rounds of clomid and took a few months off before becoming pregnant in September 2013. My chug levels were low, but doubling. At seven weeks we saw the heartbeat and were so excited. During the 9 week mark, I felt like somethink was wrong. My symptoms had changed, and I was feeling less pregnant. We discovered that the baby's heart stopped. 2 days later, I had a d & c. The remains were tested. It was a girl & a chromosome issue which essentially means it's going to be a crap shoot for us every month. We decided to stop treatment while I transition in to a new job. Here we are 3 months later & we are exploring Ivf. I am super scared. This whole processed has me super scared. I've gained so much weight which is concerning me as well. Is there anyone with a similar story? How was your experience with Ivf ? How long did it take to get pregnant? I am going to be 38 in a few months and feel like it's now or never

Hi there,

I have a 15 year old son and a 2 year old son, we have been trying for another baby since the youngest was 6 months old, i fell pregnant but my worst nightmare came and i miscarried October 11th 2012, few months later i fell pregnant again i was so happy life was back on the up for me, but then again it happen February 18th 2013 i miscarried again, i was so unhappy and it broke my heart, both of the miscarriages were at 6 weeks, and i had no D&C, doctor said i was fine an my levels had gone back to zero, so we are trying again but no luck so far, im just praying it happens so, as im not getting any younger.

I've been to the doctors to get blood works done and everything came back fine and also hubbies little friends are great aswell, so now we have been referred to the fertility clinic so we just waiting for an appointment. It's gonna be a long old road this, but hopefully it will be all worth it in the end.

received my appointment for the fertility clinic which is 27th November so it's gonna be another long waiting game again, but at least we are seeing someone.

Found out I was pregnant again on December 2nd was so happy again, but worse happened again, I've had a miscarriage December 9th 2013, now have to start all over again at the fertility clinic. I just feel so lost at the moment with 3 miscarriages in a row, don't know what's gonna happen any more.

I also now have my appointment to get HSG done which is the 24th Jan, just want to get it done and out of the way, but im also scared at the same time in case there is something wrong with me.

We also have another appointment on the 19th February to talk about the next step, which i think they want use to start clomid.

Thank you. Making the decision to start Ivf is not an easy one. We want a baby really bad, but at what cost.
