the mood

Ok this maybe a little personal but I need everyone's advice. We have almost been trying for a year now and it seems lately that I have lost the mood to dtd. Any ideas what we can do to help get us in the mood?

Stay in a hotel!

Every once in a while, we take just a night or two and go to a nice hotel downtown or in a nearby sight seeing area. We don't have to worry about walking the dog or changing the sheets. There are no dishes in the sink or laundry piles to manage. It just lets the "home maker" part of my brain shut off and let's the "make a baby" side ramp up. Also, lacy undies never seem to hurt!

It's hard for the brain to shut down. we both are in school and we have 2 dogs and a 7 yr old stepson. And our money is really tight. Thank you for the idea any that cost well free lol.

I have felt the same way lately. I hate to say it but I associate the deed with failure and figure why bother it just results in BFN anyway.
I guess somewhere along our journey of the past few years I have lost the emotional attachment that goes with it and started seeing it as a procedure that is followed after a positive OPK.
I say be at home, plan a nice romantic evening of something you both like to do. It can be as simple as spending some good time cuddling while watching a movie or tv show. I have found it helps to try to add back some romance. This is working for me this month anyway , we totally skipped last month.

I have heard clary sage oil is the really good at getting you in the mood and getting hormones right , I googled it yesterday lol. Bc I am in the mood way more than my DH is !
