Cramping during luteal phase?

I've recently noticed that after I ovulate I'll start cramping that is very similar to AF cramps just not nearly as strong. They're not painful just noticeable. My question is, is this just typical due to the progesterone that rises during this time? Does it necessarily mean that I'm out every month that I feel this cramping or could I still get pregnant even when feeling this way even though it happens every month?

I'm not really sure what causes it, but it doesn't necessarily mean you're not pregnant. Could be implantation cramping one of these days! :)

Good question! We have been TTC for over two years, and I have noticed that I cramp each and every cycle during my luteal phase. Sometimes early on at 3 DPO and other times, like yesterday, at 8 DPO. I've often wondered what hormonal shift is happening too. What I have read though is that cramping happens often to women receiving a BFP just as much as BFNs. Therefore, unless the cramping is accompanied by spotting, I usually discount it as either a good or bad sign. Good luck to you!!
