What are our chances?
Hi ladies,
I'm new to this charting and forum lark and wanted to ask your advice...
My DH and I are in cycle 2 of TTC#1. Last cycle was obviously unsuccessful but this cycle, due to positive OPK from urine test taken at 13:00 hrs on cycle day 12, I reckon I Od on 13th jan, cycle day 13. But is too early to determine real O day, as I have not had enough raised BBTs yet to confirm on my chart.
My question is regarding timing of intercourse...
We BD'd on cycle days 8,9,11,12,13 (all days leading up to and including possible ovulation day)
I am presently on cycle day 14 and have experienced what I think are ovulation pains on my left side ( short sharp pains just inside left hip bone) nothing too painful, nowhere near enough for me to take pain relief or even have a hot water bottle (am used to that as get bad cramping during AF)
What do you reckon our chances are given the days we BD'd?
I would appreciate your thoughts and any advice to how we can improve our chances even more!

There is a 15-25% chance of conceiving any given month, if you do everything "perfectly". We're all against similar odds. Just keep tracking your O and BDing on fertile days. A lot of women swear by temping, too. I tried it but got lazy. We're only in our first few months of TTC, so I'll pick that up if it gets further along and we're not having success. I hope it doesn't get to that point.
