Welcome, guys! I hear October babies are awesome. Baby dust to everyone!

Hey ladies! How are y'all doin?

Thanks to everyone who has replied to my questions!

I think I ovulated on Sunday. Today is Tuesday and my breasts no longer hurt and CM is stickier. If this isn't my month, I'm going to attempt to track my BBT. I love data collecting :)

I started taking low dose asprin yesterday. I've had a head ache and back ache for a few days, so I figured it may be a win-win to take the asprin.

So many BFPs and So much Crazy Weather! I live in Texas, USA. Our cold is nothing compared to you northern folk, but it is still abnormal!

Here's to the 2ww, maybe our bodies will sync up with the weather just go wild!

Nicole: I live in northern Louisiana and all this cold is abnormal. This morning the temp was 27 but was 19 with the wind chill. Then this weekend it's supposed to warm up to 70.

GB: I know what you mean about the ladies here, they are amazing! Hard to stay away from . They pretty much saved me from going crazy with the TTC process. And that is why I can't seem to stop want to stay and see all these lovely ladies get their sticky beans .
About your smiley, you will just have to be patient, and I recommend getting the cheap sticks from the internet for next month as they are easier to read and will not give you false readings (I use wondfo, you can get them on amazon).
Oh good solid smiley (that is the +OPK), the flashing ones are just the build up. As these tests sometimes give you a solid when it is still in fact building up, I would recommend to today and the next couple of days.
Temping is a great idea

fiverson: Glad the chart worked, I hope you will not need OPK , when are you testing?
Why can't you POAS at home? yeah bunch of construction guys may complicate things.

rebecca: still here to track your little sticky bean!
So how are you doing? Doctor watching you closely?

while: Good idea, I will look into that forum. Although I am here for the ladies, like you , oldies who we got to know . Not that I don't like new ladies, I love sharing info and helping new ladies!

pbc: yeah, you get me. It's just that they can ruin my mood for the day... I'm a little sensitive....

amommy: I think temping would be great for you, if you don't temp and confirm when you ovulate and you LP length you might be trying to get pregnant at the wrong time, or have a LP defect, and have months like this one when you have no idea when is actually due. Period's is not what is late, its the ovulation that gets delayed, the LP is +-1 day 99% of the time so it will help you if you temp from when is done.

Kara: How are you and little bean?

Jessica: You seem to be in a good place with the charting, tracking and OPK. As for the spotting, there can be a million normal reasons, and since your BBT didn't rise probably not ovulation. Just stick to OPK, BBT and .

molldoll: Could you post a link to the forum you were talking about?

EmmaLucy: for your test tomorrow

aclark: still here, can't stay away from you ladies . I'm also having irregular cycles, started seed cycling, this is month #2, last month was good, ovulated around CD15, now I'm on CD16 and still waiting....
I'm on Vancouver Island (Canada), its about +5c here today

AFM: CD16, -OPK, nothing to report really... Haven't been very positive about the whole TTC in the past few months, just doesn't feel like it is close.
Still have a migraine, this is day7.
to all the ladies, hope there are a lot more s for October.

@Kot - yes I would be sad if you left! However, I'm not sure how active that other site is. It might not have much activity. Hopefully you and I will both get our BFP soon and we can move over to countdownmypregnancy! (-: We will see.... I'm just waiting for AF to leave and for my fertile window. Sometimes the days seem to drag a bit in the TTC world. Just waiting for another chance to try again.

Thanks, Koti, and I'm glad you're still here with us! I got a package of 50 of the wondfo pregnancy tests on amazon and almost got the ovulation tests too but I figured I'd use up what I have before spending MORE money...geesh, by the time I conceive I can only imagine how much I'll have spent on all these tests and preseed, etc...but it will be worth it!

I just found out my DH will not be home tonight, but he will be tomorrow...so hopefully between the last few days and tomorrow then maybe Thursday too that will get me pregnant. Ahh the anticipation kills me for myself and everyone else trying, wish we could all fast forward our TWW times...hope we all get our BFP's soon!

@Kotikd I work 12 hour night shifts various nights of the week. How would I do my bbt charting? I havent done much research concerning bbt charting but I may consider it now after this huge disappointment. I do use opk's although not this month and although I am alittle frustrated enough to say im done with TTC right now.. I know I will be right back at it again in two wks. So any advice on how to temp when my sleeping habits are horrible? Im still fuming at the very late period this month. This is the first 28 day cycle I have had since becoming preggers last year. I had 26 day cycles for 11 months last year then had a 28 day cycle (thought I was pregnant then) and became preggers that following month. Im not sure why my cycle changed. And yes I am suspecting an LP defect now. Idk.. im still slightly holding out for a shred of hope that I could be one of those really weird ppl who bleed for a day or two and go on to find she is pregnant and have a happy healthy pregnancy and baby. Here is to wishing upon a star and believing in unicorns... sigh.. I know the ugly truth.. ughh I wish my period had just came on time.. this would have been alot easier to deal with. Im really hurting today over this.. huge disappointment.

Amommysluv: I read your post & thought my input might be able to help... I'm a nurse so work very irregular 12 hours shifts, one week I could be on days & the next on nights! I basically took my temp daily after my longest period of sleep. I'd aim for 6+ hours sleep whilst on nights & 8+ hours whilst on days, so although the time of day was never the same, my rest patterns were. <3

Kot - So happy to see your post today. I know what you mean about being put in a bad mood...I'm right there with ya girly...I'm sensitive too
The 2 years I have been TTC have taking its toll and made me a little bitter.

Now that my chart has adjusted, I think I'll test at 11 dpo, which is 2 days away.

LOL! I can POAS at home, but when I do use OPK's I notice that the best time to detect my surge is in the afternoon...which puts me at work. Thanks for the little chuckle :)
I hope your migraine goes away soon.

@Koti, @While @ Five and anyone else who have been in this for the long haul:

You girls are the epitome of strength. To stay as positive as you are and to continue to pour out support to other hopefuls is a real testament of your character. You are wonderful women who will no doubt be rewarded full circle. It will be that much sweeter when it does come.

I remember my mother's struggle quite well. She has 7 siblings, her mother had 10 siblings, and all the women had multiple children except her. She had irregular cycles and my dad also had abnormalities. It took them 3 years to conceive me, and I was an only child for 11 years. I watched her take pills, go to doctor after doctor, miscarry, and gain almost 100 lbs by the end of the 10 years of stress on her body. But, I also watched her cry the day she told me that I had a baby brother on the way. I could just feel the joyful tears mending years of brokenness.

Her spirit reminds me of you ladies. She is a beautiful woman. She has had an in home daycare for 15 years and has touched so many lives. I am 27 and my brother is 16 now and we have a very special relationship. Of course, I hope no one's TTC takes that long, but the point is that good things do happen to good people and don't let anybody or anything take away your positive outlook on life. Enjoy the days, even the long ones, in between cycles and waits; we can never get those days back and tomorrow is always a new day.

Peace
