GB - If things don't work out for you this cycle, I would definitely recommend temping. That will give you a much clearer picture of what's going on. I've heard some other ladies complain about those OPKs as well, but since I've never used them I don't know what the issue might be. Unless it's the same problem I had last cycle, where it didn't readjust to show my actual O date once it caught my first LH surge. Hang in there. I know it can be frustrating, but sometimes surprises come out of the most frustrating circumstances.

Koti: I would miss your knowledge and positive vibes if you were to leave the forum but you need to do whatever choice works best for you on your journey. I'll be thinking of you!

Congrats to all the new BFPs - so excited for all of you!

CD 19 today, should be O-ing soon. This new long cycle of 35 ish days is totally throwing off my timing. For years I was a 30 day cycle kind of girl but over the last few months they have elongated to 35 days. This means I O more around day 21. So weird.

Hope you all are staying warm wherever you are- it's beyond cold here.

Thanks, Rebecca! Who knows, maybe the 3 days in a row means I'm extra fertile this month, ha ha ha. Just kidding, trying to find some light in this.

Anyone else just starting their TWW? I'm glad I bought those cheap dip pregnancy tests, I have a feeling I'll be using those this month!

aclark - where are you from? I'm in Boston and it's FREEZING here too!

GB: I'm up in Vermont. -25 wind chill today. Ick! Are you enjoying all your snow down there in Boston?

aclark: not much snow on the ground right now, a little ice here and there but not bad, just cold! It's 14 degrees without the windchill factored in. At least the sun is going down later in the day now so I'm not walking home in the dark...I'll take that for now :) Bundle up!

AMommy: sorry got you this go round.

Ladies: don't give up. It's like my DH told his dad - we've been trying for a year but she's (me) been trying for 2 to 3 years.

Continuing to pray for all of you!!

GB1020: I would trust your body, I know when I ovulate because I have cramps for approx 2 hours before. But I get your point about the psychological side of it, once I see positive I'm constantly symptom spotting & probably convince myself I feel it more! I agree with Rebecca73, temping would be a great next step. This is my first cycle doing it & I've learnt so much more about my body & confirmed my O! I use the clearblue digital but without dual hormone indicator (the pink one), it simply smiles when it detects your LH surge or shows a blank when it doesn't, it's been really reliable for me.

Aclark13: I'm in London & it's chilly yet sunny here today at 8 degrees. -25 wind chill?! Keep yourself wrapped up missy! <3

Congratulations and happy and healthy 9 months to all those who got their BFP!! ... xx

Im currently CD6. AF appeared 4 days early this month however im feeling extra positive this month not sure why but just think that this cycle may be the one!! I have OPKs never used them before so hoping this might help me pin point O better than I can on my own...if that makes sense? If we do conceive this cycle EDD would be 30th October.

Lots of baby dust to all you lovely ladies! ! Xxx

armac1982 -

WOW, I feel like there have been more this month than there were last month, no? Well I hope that baby dust is spreading to the rest of us still in it for October!

EmmaLucy - I think I'll wait and see how my body is tomorrow to really figure out if I O'd yesterday or if I will tomorrow. This three +opk has really thrown me for a loop and messed up my BD schedule. I've been trying to BD every other day til I get the +opk, just hoping somehow I'll still catch my egg! When I first started with the opk's I used the clearblue easy pink ones - I actually still have a couple left, but then I saw the purple ones and they looked more advanced so I started using those. Never had a problem til this cycle. Now I'm starting to wonder if me taking mucinex has anything to do with it or maybe from working out/eating better/drinking lots of water has changed it or a combination of any of those things.
