Ovulation kits

Hi, I'm 35 and Have been ttc for 4 months now for baby #2, I keep track of my cycle and time intercourse during my fertile week but nothing is working. So I want to try a ovulation test. Not sure how they work? Plus how many times do you test a cycle?

I just ordered an ovulation kit today. I am ttc #3 and having difficulty (my first two were 6&7 years ago and are Irish Twins - born 10 1/2 months apart). I have been off BC for 6 months and nothing. So I ordered a kit figuring maybe I am estimating my ovulation days wrong. I will keep you posted on how mine is going once I receive them.
