Missed Period but BFN?

Ok so I tested the day before and the day of my expected period. Which was negative. So I pretty much gave up and waited for AF to arrive so I could start charting my basal body temp because I did not last time.

So I am still waiting. Im 5 days late and I seriously dont think im preg this mouth. But my hubby insists that I am.

The only "symptoms" I think I might have is irritability and ALOT of gas.

But I have been having crazy amounts of clear cm, yea tmi lol but were all ladies here.

So is it possible to be late with a BFN and still become pregnant?
