Septate Uterus

Has anyone had their septated uterus repaired to conceive easier and prevent miscarriages. My doctor is recommending i have it done and am just curious if it NEEDS to be done.

I had this surgery performed a few months ago after not being able to conceive. I've tried two times since the surgery with no success but I don't know that my fertility issues were solely because of my the septated uterus. However, if you have any questions about the surgery, I'm happy to offer info.
