Issues with Cysts

My husband and I have been trying for a few months now. When I went of birth control in February I got an ovarian cyst, then another one in March, and maybe possibly one in April (I can't decide if the constant achy dull pain is one or not). I feel like they're messing everything up -- ovulation, periods, conceiving..... I took OPKs starting on the 17th of April and I got a faint positive on the 17th but a negative on the 23rd when I was supposed to ovulate. I had a really sharp pain on my left side that lasted for about 8 hours on Saturday and then it was gone on Sunday. Does anyone else have this problem?
