Clear and stretchy discharge 1 day after AF

Hi ladies,
It would be great if someone could tell me what might be going on with if anything. This month was our second cycle trying for baby #2. AF arrived 3 days early and lasted 1 day longer than usual. This was a little strange because I normally have blood clots (sorry for the TMI) this time I didn't have any. Also I had a lot of white discharge leading up to AF and I'm normally dry during that time. Now what is really strange is that today (the day after my last bit of bleeding) I have clear and stretchy discharge. I was thinking maybe it's normal and it's no big deal. My mom however, seems to think I could be pregnant. I disagree because I don't understand how I could be pregnant but bleed for 5 days. ???? any advice or input would be assuring. Thanks
