Hey lovely ladies, have ye ovulated?

I've been taking my opks and I'm confused by this evenings , I think it's negative but the test line seems as dark or almost but a lot thinner. I've uploaded a photo so ye should be able to see it on page.

Have ye any updates for me?

Hey ladies, just a quick reply as I'm still traveling. No sign of O or even a + OPK yet. I guess that's problem a good thing though- headed home tomorrow so it looks like we didn't need to worry about missing the window after all!

Missing DH terribly though . Thought going to Las Vegas for a couple days (on a "work retreat") with the work ladies would be a little more exciting, but I guess work - and all the drama that comes with it - followed us here too... Bleh.

How bout you ladies? Any sign of the big O yet? I'm on CD 16 now so hopefully it will happen in the next few days...I'd really like to avoid another crazy long cycle like the last one.

just jumping in here really quick as I'm on my way out the door, but I'm really upset, I think I'm not going to ovulate. My tests were getting darker but not positive and now today they're been waaaay lighter. :(

Super bummed out.

Did this happen either of you before but ye went on to ovulate?

That's happened to me before, and from what I understand it's pretty common. Your body can ramp up to ovulate and then decide not to for whatever reason. The few times this has happened to me, I definitely went on to ovulate, it was just a little later than normal. Don't lose hope just yet . I'll keep my for you!

We are driving back home to new mexico from Las Vegas today and we still have about 7 hours to go... ready to be home and back with DH. Hopefully I will get a + OPK here in the next few days and catch that egg this month!

Finally a proper reply from me after what was a hectic week. Sorry for being MIA. Been a rough week

How are you both getting on? @SootSprite17 did you get a positive OPK when you got home? Hope you've been Bd'ing looooads @MrsGenuineSunshine did you get a positive OPK? How's all with you?

I'm looking forward to hearing about your symptoms and BFP's in the coming weeks, we're nearly in the TWW ladies (It's so much better than waiting to Ovulate IMO)

I'm still waiting to get a positive OPK, haven't tested today yet so I'll come back this afternoon and let you guys know, my temps are very boring, all around the same mark, my chart is on here so you can see it if you want (nothing interesting there yet though) I'm hoping to ovulate soon, but not today as DH is away this evening so we can't BD until tomorrow evening. We BD'd with "Yes baby" yesterday and Saturday but I think that will have been void as still no surge Hate wasting swimmers haha

Anyway, Hope you guys are well and having fun BD'ing :)

Good to see you back @ELGtrying! I'm hoping things are starting to settle down on the home front after the rough week you've had . I would definitely keep testing with the OPKs! You might just be ovulating later than normal because of the recent stress you've been under, but you won't know for sure unless you keep temping and testing. I've heard long as you BD every two or three days routinely, that his swimmers won't be wasted when you're in the "window". So it's good practice for healthy ones! I'm rooting for your + OPK!

@Sootsprite that's a LONG drive home you got there - but hopefully with some beautiful scenery? The best part about coming home is coming home to a DH who missed you! I'm betting your timing will be perfect!

I haven't posted lately because I was getting discouraged with all the - OPKs each time I tested during the "window" . I kept testing through the weekend, even when my CM and CP were indicating I was ovulating and had missed it, while my temp and OPK were telling me I wasn't.

Lo and behold I got my first + OPKs late last night and this morning (CD 16/17)! I didn't get three hours of consecutive sleep last night thanks to severe weather and tornado warnings, so I wasn't able to temp. However I'm hoping tomorrow morning will show a big spike! We BD'd last night and the night before, so I'm planning one more tonight and we should be covered! Then we're officially in the TWW after today!

I'm so anxious and excited for our little group! Keep me posted because I'm dying over here!!

Yay for your + OPK @MrsGenuineSunshine! So happy for you! Sounds like your timing will be perfect to catch that egg - I'll keep my for you!! Let us know when the temp spikes so we can count down with you .

@ELGtrying - Hopefully this week things will start turning better and less stressful for you. I agree with @MrsGenuineSunshine about stress causing you to O late. Just keep doing what you're doing and using those OPKs (and of course temping) so you know exactly when to get down and dirty!

I think traveling has messed with my O. I tested again this morning (CD 18) and still not even close to a + OPK. Mine seem to be getting lighter now too, which is discouraging, but I'm still hopeful it will just happen a few days later than my charts are predicting. Still no temp spike either - was thinking maybe I had missed the surge and O'd anyway, but no sign of that either.

DH was very happy to see me when I got home at 7:30 last night, but I was so exhausted I could barely stand in the shower, let alone muster the energy to BD! Guess we'll just have to start getting after it again tonight .

I'm just ready to be in the TWW already!! @MrsGenuineSunshine, you've beaten us to the punch, but I bet we're not far behind . Keep us posted and we'll do the same!

YAY about your +OPK MrsGenuineSunshine, woohooo, you're 1/2dpo today so? I'm so jealous but super happy that you're there! Keep us updated on any and all symptoms so we can obsess with you

As for me, STILL no +OPK . I got the darkest I've gotten to date last night and two dark this morning but they're still not Positive and to make matters worse, I have little to no CM and what I do have is just watery. No EWCM for me. I'm highly considering buying a digi just so I know if I'm even in my fertile days. Maybe this is going to be a majorly long cycle.

Have either of you lovely ladies had that issue with CM, have ye any recommendations on what to do RE the digi? Should I hold out and hold onto my money?

@SootSprite17 Any + today? So sorry that you're in the same boat as me, but it'll come :) Travelling has def just set you off a day or two. How are you feeling today? I'm so glad your DH was so happy to see you! You're bound to have great fun tonight

Don't ya just love obsessing over this crap? It's actually pretty fun...though DH doesn't really understand it hahaha .

@ELGtrying - I've had a couple cycles where I had only watery CM, and one of them was actually the very first cycle I've ever gotten pregnant. Watery is still good, but if you're worried, I'd just invest in some Pre-Seed or that Yes Baby stuff to give your CM a bit of a boost while you .

I took an OPK last night when I got home from work and it was so freaking close to a + I'm half tempted to record it as that. My digi said no-go though, so for now we'll call it a neg. This morning the line was WAY lighter, so I'm just hoping there's a night/day LH fluctuation and I'll get a + tonight...or at least soon. *sigh* I just want to be in that TWW like @MrsGenuineSunshine! So jealous !!

As far as the digis go, I really like the ClearBlue one - I use the PINK one which really just tells you "yes" or "no". Pretty straightforward and super accurate. Hasn't failed me yet! The purple one will tell you when you're just starting your surge as well as when you peak, but with that one there was a cycle where I had 10 straight days of "high" fertility and then it went back to low before I got my peak. Very confusing and frustrating. I'd stick with the simpler one, which is also a bit cheaper. Costs about $35 for 20 sticks.

I hope we get our + OPK soon @ELGtrying!! Keeping fingers for us and sending tons of your way @MrsGenuineSunshine!! Keep us posted on those juicy symptoms . GL!

This morning was CRAZY but I wanted to check in since I kept getting the email notifications and was DYING to read! I'm perfectly fine with being called obsessive . My favorite quote is "Good luck is the result of good planning."

@ELGtrying - My CM was only EW two/three days before I O'd (CD13), then it was just watery for the past few days (still is 1 DPO). I was reading around and they say you're still in the fertile window four to five days before you get a +OPK. I used the internet cheapies, Wondfo Combo 40 Ovulation and 10 Pregnancy Urine Test Strips for around $22.00 + Shipping. My lines showed up gradually (I uploaded a picture of them) and I also made sure I was hydrated but not an excessive amount of water.

One other suggestion I heard to increase CM is the Robitussin where the only active ingredient is guaifenesin. I second what SootSprite said about still using Pre-Seed or Yes Baby. It sounds like you're doing everything right and that O should be just around the corner and lots of .

@SootSprite17 my DH doesn't have a clue how much is involved. My neighbor gives me a hard time about testing and everything. I rather do everything in my power then stand back and do nothing at all and just guess/shoot from the hip. I'm so grateful you have some experience with the OPK test because I have NO CLUE what are the worst vs what is more accurate, etc. Do you know what position your cervix is usually when you O?

AFM - Can I just say how sweet you both are? I didn't even think I was going to O this month (because I'm pretty sure I didn't last month) but you two have been such great cheerleaders .

This morning my temp did spike above even the highest temp I recorded this month! I tested once more this morning and it was a -OPK so that confirms that O did actually take place yesterday. I found out it's really important to record the temp at the same time. I felt twinges in the left ovary off and on all yesterday. Today is officially 1DPO and all I've felt is a few "pulling" pains in my abdomen if that makes sense? It's not as sharp but it's the dull, pulling and achey feeling you get a few days before AF. Of course this could all just be in my head (or gas lol). I'm also eating a ring of pineapple core each day for the next seven days so who knows .

I'm for both of you wonderful ladies for some +OPKs up in here! I want all of us to be in the TWW already and am keeping my that you both aren't far behind so we can be all in !!
