Has anyone had a similar experience?

Hi everyone,
I ovulated on 3/14 and 15 ( confirmed by Clearblue digital opk that gives you the happy face on your 2 most fertile days).

My husband and I did the deed on 3/14 -15. So, the 2ww started. On evening dpo 9, I had quick sharp pains in my left side. I thought it was possible implantation. Then on Thursday morning, dpo 12, I had quick mild cramping on the same left again and then in the afternoon, I started seeing light brown when I wiped, which I thought mmaybe could've been implantation spotting. All tests up to this point were negative (including on 14dpo). But this "spotting" seemed to get heavier, I'm now assuming it's my period, but it's been all dark brown and sticky. It's weird and still occuring at 16dpo.

Now, I do have PCOS and very irregular cycles. My last period before this was December and before that August. But, this is the first time I've only had this brown dark thick sticky stuff (sorry tmi) and no red. I'm wondering if it is just my period getting rid of old blood or if something went wrong with a possible conception?

Had anyone had a similar experience?
