Faint line insanity!!

So, my period is about a week and a half late and so two days after it was late I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. Then I took even more. Still negative. But last night I took one and there was a VERY faint blue line, my husband doesn't want to believe it's positive because he always thought that it would be darker. What was the lightest test you ever had that ended up being a full pregnancy?!?
