Thanks girls :)

Because these tests are through a specialist they do them the same day. If it was through my normal doctor it would take a week.

Bayouwife I am glad you enjoyed your trip :) Remember you can get plenty of pregnancy symptoms from the increased level of progesterone in your body. I am wondering if that will happen to me because mine is so high. Don't know about the back pain though. I get horribly bloated every single month now since my miscarriage.

Just purchased my basal thermometer, pre-seed and more opk- this time with the lines. I still have some digital ones. So I'll probably use together. Any tips on the basal thermometer?
I'm really really hoping this cycle takes. I do not want to go on this family trip. Ugh...
I'm so depressed today.

Hi mommame. Sorry to hear you are not feeling very happy today :( Why are you not happy about the trip? Are they just planning it and expecting you to go along with it?

With the basal thermometer you need to take your temperature the minute you wake up. You must have been asleep for at least 3 hours before hand as well. Don't stretch, and move around as little as possible before taking it as that can affect the temperature significantly. Try to take it around the same time each morning (although I can see a pattern even with my terrible sleeping pattern). Don't worry about individual temperatures at all, just look for the pattern.

6-8 dpo today. Feeling much the same as always :) 10 days until I plan to test (if need be).

M-I think you will like temping, it will give you a lot more insight into your cycles. Preseed is nice as well. I may go get some if this cycle is a bust. What is your reason for not wanting to go on the trip?

I am 10-11DPO, temps are still up with no spotting. Still feeling crampy this am and lower back and hips are hurting??? Just received my pg results and they look great, 15ng/mL. It was 4.6 last month.

This waiting game is no fun!

Hey Ladies - I'm much better today! :) I guessing I was so moody because of aunt flo.
So I did the thermometer this am, but I was tossing and turning all night, that I just don't know how accurate it will be. I'm not the best sleeper - that lays down and doesn't move. So we'll see how it works. I got a 96.10 this am. Does that sound normal?

I also think AF may be done already - which is good...
B- great news on the PG results!!! Sounds like maybe the trip away was good for you - you may not have stopped thinking about it - but maybe your body was relaxed!?!? :) Happy thoughts for you (and Shel) :)

The reason why the trip upset me so much is... if we were to get pregnant this cycle - due date is June 15 - so a July 25 overseas trip just isn't something I'd want to do... even so, I can't (and honestly don't want to) fly overseas on a 9+ flight in my third trimester... so I just feel like it was a "we don't think you're going to be pregnant so lets plan a family trip" trip. They know we are trying to get pregnant. So I'm really hurt that they would do this. Hubby told his parents count us out until further notice - but it still really hurt my heart - especially cause I had just gotten AF that day - bad timing I guess.
Last night I decided - whatever will be will be... Getting upset only hurts me - no one else... lol... so I decided to get over it, and just concentrate on us and try to get pregnant. If we're pregnant - or have baby we aren't going. So theres nothing to fuss over. Thank goodness Hubbys on same page as me!! :) I love him! :)

Bayouwife that progesterone result is great! That's what I had last cycle and they said it was "lovely".

Mommame There is no such thing as a "normal" temperature. Everyone is very different, and each thermometer is different., I have half a degree difference between my previous thermometer and this one (I broke the last accidentally). Also your temperature will be all over the place during AF. Don't orry, just keep going and it should smooth out a bit and only after you see you first shift will you know it works :) Don't worry about the moving. As long as you are consistent then your tempeatures will reflect that! Hope it goes well for you :)

Planning trips is really hard with the uncertainty of pregnancy! A few weeks ago I went on a ski trip which had been planned a couple of months before. I wasn't sure up until a few days before the trip whether I would actaully be able to ski! But, the way I thought about it it was a win-win situation. Either I would not be pregnant but would have the consolation win of the skip trip (which was a lot of fun!!) or I would be pregnant which was a huge win! It made it a whole lot easier to deal with not being pregnant that month! I needed that as that was the month I found out my sister had got pregnant first try.

I dont think I like the thermometer that I bought already! lol.. It beeps like 100 times when I turn it on, then when temp is done, and then when I turn it off - The inventor wasn't thinking straight with the beeps lol! Especially considering you're supposed to do this before you are even awake! oh well... Used the preseed! that stuff is useful! not gross like other stuff. So we'll see... So many people seem to claim it helps.
The trip is to London - for a car show... Its my father in laws birthday (yesterday) and hes always wanted to go to this vintage car show in London - so next year they will take all of us. Unless of course there is a baby. So its not really even a trip I'd want to go on if i weren't pregnant- car shows are dumb - regardless of the country! lol. We did a trip with them last year to Italy, and they travel very differently than hubby and I do. We don't really plan things and just go with the flow based on how we feel that day - sleep in, etc. They have every sec of every minute planned - and everyone gets an itinerary... just stressful, not relaxing travel people. You know!? But I've got a few more months to get pregnant... lol - so here's hoping!! lol If I do get pregnant... I will tell my child - Thank you!! I didn't have to go on family trip because of you! lol. :)

mommame I am sorry your thermometer is being a pain :( Mine only beeps once when I turn it on (so I know it is on!) and then when done taking it keeps beeping until off. The temp stays in memory until I next turn it on to read it. Very simple. Doesn't even have a backlight so my husband doesn't get woken by it.

I agree with you on the car show. I would SOOOO not be interested in that!! And it does sould like it could be a bit stressful. Try not to stress about it until you come to it though, because as you say you might be pregnant and that would be a great excuse :)

I am so hoping I will get pregnant this month. 12 dpo (or 10) and everything still as usual (as I would expect). Bit more creamy cm than I would normally have, but my progesterone was high and that is what causes it so that makes sense. Will be starting to be on the lookout for spotting from today. If I have none by Wednesday I will probably test.
