Maybe someone still reads this and finds it interesting...

I was on Clavella (myo-inositol) for three month and it went like this:

month 1 and 2 - one Little bag a day (2g) resulted in one BIG follicle - ovulated on my own
month 3 - 2 bag (total of 4g) a day - 2x15mm follies on CD12, ovulated on my own CD15.

I have heard many with pcos that after inositol ovulated on their own, so i guess it is worth a try.

You should though pay Attention to your eating since inositol is a sort of B Vitamine and it can "help"you gain some weight...

Hello! I have pcos with IR. I'm in metformin and am currently awaiting the results on my 5th month of clomid! I've never heard of what you're talking about but I'm about 15lbs underweight so if it helps you gain... What is it?

You're not alone! ??

Hello

I live in Germany so it is possible you never heard of Clavella, but inositol you can find in US. It is not very expensive and it helps with pcos and since it is a Derivate from a Vitamin B, it also "helps" with some weight gaining :)) .

Myo-Inositol is a naturally occurring substance belonging to the B complex family of vitamins. By acting as an insulin-sensitizing agent, myo-inositol helps to promote proper utilization of the hormone insulin, which in turn supports proper hormone balance, ovarian function, egg quality and menstrual cycle regularity.

Myo-inositol may be especially helpful for women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). PCOS is a medical condition that impacts nearly ten percent of women of childbearing age and is a major cause of female fertility issues. While the cause of PCOS is not fully understood, hormonal imbalances seem to play a big role in the onset of symptoms. Women with PCOS tend to produce higher levels of male hormones like testosterone, which can impact ovulation and menstrual cycles. Many researchers believe that higher testosterone levels are related to decreased insulin sensitivity. Insulin is secreted by the pancreas, and is responsible for carrying sugar into the cells of the body where it can be used for energy. Women with PCOS have cells that are less sensitive to insulin, resulting in higher insulin levels and increased production of male hormones.

By helping your body use insulin effectively, myo-inositol helps to promote hormone balance and ovarian function.
