I completely understand how u feel about it taking fo. .rever it seems. Been trying since march 2011. Get signs but no lines. Tried iui last year but could only afford 2 times.. Trying again this year but costs went up again. Hoping this is my year. All my tests came back good it is my partner that has lower count and motility issues but i have been assured if it is gonna happen it will by the specialist. I have been ready to give up and just forget or hide the yerning for my own bundle of joy on several occassions but i am persisting for now. Hope u get a sticky one soon. I start next cycle for iui.

That sounds exciting! I Have finally started my AF today after my meds messed me up last cycle! My usuall LP is 12 days and this cycle ended up being 23days! I was surely over it by today, This next cycle is a natural cycle but I have an appt. at the clinic in 2 weeks to discuss what is next, My DH has low Testosterone and has trouble maintain or finishing the job so we are looking to help him out, he is not all that keen at the moment because he feels embarrassed but I think that our main problem is lack of BDing around the right time so I hope it works!

We've been trying for over 2 years, since April 2011.

I've never been pregnant.

Just got back DH's first SA and there's good volume (6.3 ml) and good concentration (149.5 million per ml). Unfortunately, his motility is a little low. Motility-A is 5% and Motility-B is 31%.

I'm not sure how bad this is, but it seems bad to me. We're waiting to find out if his next SA is any better and I'm going to do some blood testing to get a picture about whether I'm ovulating.

Sometimes I find the whole thing really impossible.

Rather frustrated today, too, because DH is off on his mountain bike for the day and chances are this isn't helping his motility. Maybe once we get referred to the clinic, we'll get some official advice that he might listen to.

At the moment, he's just saying that he 'can't' stop riding his bike.

I'm wondering if he knows all the stuff that I might have to go through if intervention is needed. It probably doesn't seem very real to him.

Anyway, need to find out if I'm in good shape. I suspect not, but be good to know for sure.

Mammoth - Good to see you are starting with treatments! My DH is very closed as to what he will let happen to him, its frustrating because I have been through a lot, but its his choice in the end and we have been preg so we know it can happen. I have my follow up apt with my fertility clinic on Wed so I am looking forward to that :)

Hi ladies! Just came across this post and wanted to say hi, all of you seem to be going through so much but doing well supporting each other and I wanted to be a part of that :)
Me - 27, partner - 22, been TTC for 18 months now, after I came off the Pill my cycles were all over the place, it was really distressing coz I am SO CLUCKY I want to steal every baby I see! So it was upsetting when my body just didnt want to behave and be regular! Now seeing an ob/gyn who is having me take blood tests at Day 21 of each cycle to test that I have ovulated, and to check my HCG levels straight away. Got latest results yesterday, and YES to ovulation, NO to HCG :( if I'm definitely not pregnant this month, next step is to send my partner for another semen analysis (had one a year ago which was average) and send me for a HSG procedure. Also been seeing a naturopath who has put me on all kinds of remedies, pre-natal vitamins and hormone balancing vitamins, so something's gotta work soon, right?!
DS is 4 and is at the age now where he's asking all the time for a baby brother or sister, I'm so hoping we can give him one soon! I struggled getting pregnant with him also, took nearly 2 years, had a m/c at 6 weeks during that time, with no fertility issues with either me or his father (different partner to now), and found myself getting absolutely obsessed with TTC back then, so much I got severe depression when I wasn't falling pregnant and had to be on medication. I'm trying SO hard not to go down that road again, but once the time starts ticking on I can't help it, it's on my mind all the time!! I just hope if I'm not pregnant that my period comes soon so we can get on with the next tests we'll do and get on the road for having a baby!!

Try to stay positive, I know its easier said than done and we all.know what stress can do to our cycles, I bad for stressing about O and missing my fertile window because old my partners low T but I am working on chilling out. Mabye this time will beeasir because you have a child and you know that its acheivable! I know that you are pining for another child but celebrate the miracle you have :)
