Slow decreasing HCG after chemical pregnancy

I ovulated on Jan. 21, 2015 and got my BFP on Feb. 4, 2015 at 14 DPO.

I went in to the doctor's office on Feb. 6 and he couldn't see anything on ultrasound. My HCG level that day was 43.

So, here is a history of my chemical pregnancy, based on my HCG levels:

Feb. 6 - 43 (at 16 DPO)
Feb. 10 - 129
Feb. 13 - 187 (I was told it was definitely a chemical pregnancy)

I bled on Feb. 16

Feb. 23 - 55
Mar. 2 - 40
Mar. 9 - 36

My question is: aren't my HCG levels dropping WAY TOO SLOW?
Has anyone had this experience before? When am I supposed to have them go back to zero? When should I expect to ovulate?

I'm not sure... with my chemical last month my hcg didn't get higher than 19. It's a slow process though I've been told especially the higher the hcg is. hugs to you. 2 weeks after mine I was back at 0.
