doc call for a 5week pregnancy viability scan!
Hi all mom-to-be,
I have just been tested positive with hcg level of 694 at DPO 16. Doc is calling for a viability scan next Monday which is beginning of week 6. I thought its a bit early to do this scan. Anyone know what the doc actually want to find out?

Hiya a viability scan is just to make sure everything is ok etc. If you ahve been spotting or anything like that or if your levels seem slightly lower meaning you ovulated later etc they just scan you to make sure eveything is in the right place and its a viable pregnancy - basically a being cautious scan is the way my doc explained it to me :-)
