Hi, ladies!

Man, it took me 1.5 hrs to read up on March. You guys have been busy!

Basia - yay to 14 eggs. Hope you have some good news on the fertilization.

TTC - when's your next ultrasound? This week, right?

Welcome to all the newbies!!

AFM, I ovulated late this month. I typically go on day 13 or 14 but after day 14 and no smiley I stopped testing. But day 16 I felt like I needed to test again and got my smile. DH was away for school so we BD on morning of day 14, evening of day 16, and morning of day 17. Hoping it's enough for us!!

Looking forward to spring break this week, SXSW, and friends coming to town. This month was awful stressful and I'm hoping it didn't ruin my chances this month.

Yep my BETA at 22 means a BFP and I had a follow up blood test this morning, and will find out this afternoon the results and obviously we are looking for it to double.

my high oestrogen at 20920 would be about 5700 on the american scale. So after the egg retrieval and transfer and now with the BFP my oestrogen is continuing to rise, aka I have OHSS. Thankfully I have not had any vomiting, fluid on the lungs etc. that apparently people get. But my rising HcG is making it all get worse instead of better. Still I am just really bloated and feel aweful if I start moving around.

As this is my first time being pregnant I asked the nurse what happens from here and she said that I will continue to get blood tests every second day until my BETA starts to plateau and then they will reduce tests to twice weekly. Other than that it is the ultrasound at 35DPO (7weeks) for it to be considered a clinical pregnancy. After that I transition to an obstetrician or to a midwife. I am undecided about which to choose. Most of my friends have gone the midwife and all recommend it. My sister went the obstetrician route for no reason other than that is what we grew up being told that was what you did.

Either way everyone says I need to choose this week and get my name on waiting lists for either the ob or the midwife... It feels weird making this decision in the sense that I don't really believe this is happening and am sort of waiting till that week 7 scan to consider myself 'pregnant'.

Red-yes I have my ultrasound on Thursday. I'm praying this baby has a major growth spurt and there's no question about viability.

@Gemma -CONGRATS! Are they feeling okay about your OHSS and managing it?

@Basia - YAY!!!! so when do you find out how the fourteen are doing?

AFM - we are planning to go forward the IUI tomorrow, and will talk to the dr tomorrow about our concerns. Basically, when I went in on Friday, I didn't get to talk to my RE and then they just scheduled us in our portal so I felt like I had some questions etc and was uneasy obviously, and I think it would have been nice to have been able to talk to our RE. He is now out of town for a week so we will have the other RE tomorrow for the IUI. So I'm planning to talk to her beforehand just to make sure she doesn't have any major aversions.

My friend gave me the trigger shot last night!

Anyway, so it looks like tomorrow at 3:45 CT will be my IUI. DH goes in at 2:30 for his sample. (-:

I think I have a very mild case of OHSS - I got more bloated today and have small pain in my lower abdomen. Hopefully it goes away.
