Woohoo March! My bday is at the end of the month, let's hope its a good one! I probably won't post much since I'm still waiting to start the IUI process, but I read the board daily and always cheering you ladies on.

March- the month I've been looking forward to so aptly is now here (well close enough anyways). I start my suprefact nasal spray tomorrow- this just got very, VERY real for me. I've been uber excited since I found out we were starting IVF, heck I was ecstatic when I got a big box of injections in the mail (who AM I?? haha). Now I'm super nervous- and am glad I haven't told anyone in my personal life about this- I am not sure I could handle ppl asking me questions. I know a few of my fellow march IVF'ers are taking BCP but is anyone else taking the suprefact? or has anyone used it before in a previous cycle?

Good luck ladies! I'll be here cheering you on since we are taking a few months off.

Brownie - the first time the only people who knew was my mom (we're really close) and my coworker/friend/carpool buddy. If I didn't have so many early morning appointments that affected my carpooling I probably wouldn't have told her. The second time I didn't tell my mom - just my friend again and she knew not to ask. She figured if there was news I would tell her. It was hard the first time with people asking whether it worked or not. I just can't handle people asking questions. Sometimes its hard keeping my mouth shut but I just prefer it that way. It is really exciting when the box of meds arrive - I think anyone who does IVF has experienced this confusing feeling lol. It goes pretty quickly (until the 2WW). The injections aren't that bad. The ER can be painful depending on how many eggs they get so expect to take it easy for a couple days. Most people don't have the experiences I did, so hopefully first time works for you :)

Just waiting for AF. Hoping it's Sunday before noon so it hopefully won't interfere with a trip I'm hoping to take the weekend of the 15th!

Hi all,

Am joining for a March IUI. Expecting IUI to be somewhere between 5 - 7 March.

This is my second IUI for the year. I am feeling positive about this one already. I feel that there is a spirit baby now standing by and waiting for me. May my body be ready and able.

Best wishes to all. Hope that you can achieve your dream this month.l

Welcome and Good luck Sally! Are you taking any meds with your IUI or going the unmedicated route?

Okay so first time taking the suprefact nasal spray went off just fine. No excessive dripage, stinging or terrible taste...phew!!

Thorn- I have a hard time keeping my mouth shut about it, but whenever I'm tempted to say something I just remind myself that I may regret it when that person starts asking questions. The questions are difficult! Yesterday I told my husband about being nervous and he just said that we'd be in it together, I responded that my complaining to him may be worse than any side effects I experience hahaha.

Basia, did your doctor tell you to stop all caffeine consumption? I'm a big coffee lover, but I'm wondering if it's okay to switch and have one cup of decaf in the morning.

Basia- nope not yet. Im going to call today and see what I can find out. I sincerely hope if they found something, they would have called.

They said not to smoke (which I don't anyways)

and to limit coffee and alcohol - the nurse told me not to have more then 1 cup of coffee a day - she said a bit of coffee is ok - you don't want drastic changes to your body, etc. I might be switching to 3/4 cup of coffee and hopefully to 1/2 later on - I just need my coffee now... I have been pulling 12 hour days at work and need to work Saturdays soo yeahh... I need something
