CD7: waiting to Ovulate: taking FertilAid (mens& womens)

Hi All,

April 20 (CD 7) still waiting to Ovulate. Usually on CD18 of 33 day cycle so i still have another week to 10 days wait.
Interested to know if anyone else tried the FertilAid fertility vitamins and would like to discuss or interested in trying the vitamins and want a little more information before buying.
So far i've been taking them for about 3 days. My fiancee' has been taking them for 7 days.

He says he doesn't notice much of a change but i do. He seems to have lost his appetite over the past few days. He sleeps more soundly at night but has alot more energy during the day. His semen has improved a little to me also. It used to have a sort of fishy odor that seems to be gone and it's usally watery but now i've noticed that it's more "thick" (sorry if TMI)

So far as me, i've only been on them for a short time but i notice that i have more CM now than i usually do during this time of the month. I'm usually dry, but i've noticed that there's more of it than normal before i ovulate. They seem to help increase my energy level also. I can get about 3 hrs of sleep and feell like i've slept all lnight and make it through my 14 hour days not feeling tired at all. I have noticed that i don't eat as much as usual but i'm ALWAYS thirsty. LOL..

I'm looking for anyone who might be interested in following the changes or progress of taking the Fertil Aid vitamins. I read alot of the reviews on their website what prompted me to order them. Having not known anyone whose personally tried them I'm a little skeptical. Since i decided to try them I would like to be a first hand kind of user for anyone interested. A sort of "guinea pig" if you'd like. LOL..

Good luck to everyone TTC. Loads of Baby Dust.

I should add that DP and I ave been TTC since Feb 2010. Had a CP in Aug 2010 and actively started again In Nov. We ordered FertilAid in Mar 2011 after about 4 months unsuccessful.

I have been on fertilaide for a month now. Thirst...yes...more energy in the first few weeks, i have been sick and have had alot of nose bleeds so i slowed down on them the past 4 days or so, but now day 1 of new cycle so i am taking full force again. I also have noticed an increase in cm through out this last cycle. Noticed cramping from 1 dpo till 2 days before af which i have never had before....ovulated 2 days earlier this last cycle and my usual 27 day cycle reduced to 24...so many changes for me in the first month...Hope this maybe helps??!!

Thank you for responding aburley.

I guess the most noticeable changes for me is the change in energy and CM. I thought it was just noticeable to me until last night when DP made a comment about CM during BD. (sorry if TMI) I was like "OMG, I didn't think you'd notice the change." LOL.. but i've only been taking them for about 5 days..
I think that we'll try them for about 3-5 more months just to give our bodies more time to get used to the product. If that doesn't work we might try going to see a fertility specialist. We discussed that topic before and although he's not to thrilled about it, he notices how important it is to me to have it done so i think in the long run he might become more willing.
Good luck to you on month two with Fertilaid. My fingers are crossed for your BFP.

CD 15. I think that pretty soon I will be posting my thank you's to the makers of this product. This post is a little graphinc so I apologize in advance if i offend.

I usually don't notice that i've O'd until AFTER i've O'd but this month i can actually tell that i'm getting close to O without using OPK's or anything besides listening to my body and checking my CM. Usually when i check my CM it's difficult to differentiate whether creamy, sticky, egg white and so forth because DP and I BD A LOT! The differences and the changes has been so drastic that even he notices. Comments about it all the time. This month I've watched it turn from dry (crumplely feeling) to sticky (stretches slightly between two fingers) to what it is on this day slippery (almost like i'm wetting myself). I feel great! I also have been feeling a little crampy off and on (like gas bubbles in my stomach) so I take them to be O pains. Plus, slight backs ache, acne breakouts, and exhaustion. I'm just saying that I'm noticeing , finally, that these are my fertile days.

My partner's mom is very superstitious. Yesterday he went to their house and she started asking him if we were TTC. He didn't know why she asked so he just said why. she stated that when he came in the house a little lizard came in behind him. When he came back to our home, before he told me about what his mom asked, he saw that i was looking in the corner at something when he walked in. i told him there's a lizard in the house. He laughed and told me the story about his mom and said that's normally a sign of fertility and pregnancy when a lizard is in the house. i'm not so superstitious so i just said we'll wait and see.

I like taking these vitamins. the help me to stay energized throughout my day, the noticeable changes in CM throughout my cycle is enough to convince me to continue taking them even if i don't get a BFP right away. I'm confident that it will happen for me eventually. I now have 3-4 more days until i O (according to this site's calculator) so you can all look forward to more posts then. Tracking everything from daily BBT to DPO symptoms. And finally if and when i do get that BFP.
Good luck to everyone TTC. Loads of Baby Dust to you ALL!!
